सब यह ध्यान रखना कि "Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)" का मतलब है - Class-IV Employee यानि चपरासी इत्यादि। यह नया मुहावरा हमारी ब्यूरोक्रेसी ने ईजाद किया है पिछले दो-तीन साल से - क्योंकि पिछले वेतन आयोग ने चतुर्थ श्रेणी खत्म करने की सिफारिश की थी। खत्म तो नहीं हुई, पर उनको यह अंग्रेजी का अजीब सा रुतबा दे दिया गया है - MTS !!

पहले चपरासी खुद को 'चपरासी' कहलाने की बजाय "Class IV Officers" कहलवाने की मांग कर रहे थे। अब उनकी यह इच्छा भी पूरी हो गई, चतुर्थ श्रेणी भी हट गई और MTS का बिल्ला मिल गया - काम और वेतन वही का वही और सुविधायें भी कोई ज्यादा नहीं!

You are right Deswalji as the pay scale of the posts also indicates in that direction. The posts are in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 [Pay band I]with grade pay of 1,800/- and admissible allowances.

Qualification is Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board.
