This does not need anymore discussion beyond: http://www.thehindu.com/news/nationa...cle4235994.ece

the state had reported thefts of property worth Rs 350 crore, which increased to Rs 1,504 crore in 2012. The criminals were able to make away with property worth Rs 5 crore every day in 2012, as compared to Rs 1 crore a day in the previous year. The national average for 2012, was Rs 602 crore. Gujarat ranked among the top, well ahead of Delhi, Maharashtra and West Bengal. Against the reported theft cases, the recovery was just 5% in Gujarat. Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan had recovery rate of 67.5% and 60% respectively. Other states like Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and Chandigarh too had over 50% recovery rate, the release said. Rajput demanded that law and order situation in the state be brought under control by filling up the vacancies in state police force and making it more responsible.

On the issue of missing kids, Rajput stated that from 2007 to 2012, the state reported that 56,941 kids went missing. Of these, 5,812 were still untraced. In first six months of 2013, the state has reported 6,257 missing kids, out of which 2,136 were not found. Girl children constitute a large chunk of this.

    Very good and analytic write-up.

You have minutely and concisely covered almost every aspect.

However, there are chances that some non-jats may challenge this in court like IS Yadav from Rewari filed PIL in Supreme Court against Army's recruitment criteria of only Jats, Rajputs and Sikhs in Presidents Body Guards in 2013.

But big question is that shall we forget the misrules of Congress and regional parties at the center for the past 10 years.

    1. Can we Jats forget the misrule of Congress for the last 10 years (and 50 years) just because of last minute reservation?
    2. Can we Jats forget the misuse of tax money paid by public?
    3. Can we Jats forget the 2G Scam, Black Money, CWG scam, Coal scam, Adarsh scam and others just because of reservation?
    4. Can we Jats forget the incursions by China and other neighbouring countries and our weak PM doing nothing?
    5. Can we Jats forget the beheading of our brave soldiers on border by Pakistanis and PM not doing anything just because of reservation?
    6. Can we Jats forget the biasing of government by supporting a particular community in Muzaffarnagar riots?
    7. Can we Jats forget the diminishing credibility of India globally?
    8. Can we Jats forget the humiliation of India by a non-existing small country Togo?
    9. Can we Jats forget the insolvent like situation of Indian economy similar to 1991?
    10. Do you want a weak PM like Pappu (Rahul) or any third front leader like Mulayam to become PM of India and put India back to 1990's era?

There are many more...but we need to think.

    1. Don't we want to get development for us and our next generation?
    2. Don't we want electricity 24*7 so that our Jat children can study during exams and get benefitted from this reservation?
    3. Don't we want good road infrastructure even after paying tax?
    4. Don't we want to make India a manufacturing hub to manufacture Arms for Indian Armed Forces in India.? Economy can't survive for much time on Service and IT sector.
    5. Don't we want a Strong, self reliant India respected by all countries?
    6. Don't we want a strong government and strong PM with a vision for India because political vision is reflected in the policies of any government?

Please note that every political party has some negative points. Daag to chand me bhi hote h, lekin jab chandni raat aati h to chand bhi ujala deta h.

Why Jats should vote for Narendra Modi...

    1. Development: Gujarat under the leadership of CM Narendra Modi is undoubtedly number one state in terms of progress.

    2. Infrastructue:
Roads and Power situation play an important role in all round development of any state or country. Gujarat has 24*7*365 days of power supply and a quality of road network. Infrastructure projects generate a lot of jobs.

    3. Non-Corrupt and Effective Regime:
Modi has provided best governance appreciated by all sections of society. No Red-tapism and least transfers of IAS/IPS officers. Less transfers means better understanding by an officer of an area/government department which helps in better strategy and governance.

    4. Law & Order :
Gujarat has best law & order in any state of India. Women feel more safer as compared to any other state in India. All states in India have bureacrats and police chiefs from IAS/IPS cadre. But Modi's effective control over bureacracy and strict implementation of law makes Gujarat much safer.

    5. Vision for Growth :
For example, Solar Power over the canals and desert land.

    6. Communal Harmony :
No communal riots for the past 12 years. You can compare any other state with Gujarat. UP has had around 150 communal riots during SP government.

    7. Tourism:
Developed Tourism in Gujarat which earns a huge amount for Government treasury.

Now coming to the works done by Modi for Agriculture. Jats are primarily involved in agriculture. So mentioning this here.

    8. Agriculture development: Agriculture share in India's GDP is around 13.7%. And agriculture growth rate in India is around 3.6%. In Gujarat, agriculture is growing at 7.53%, almost double as compared to India. Gujarat has 35% of its area as arid or semi-arid and in addition to this, 2.2 Lakh hectare area is salinity affected. Despite this, Gujarat reported second highest oilseed crops in 2011-12. Around 70000 hectare of land is reclaimed which grows 10% of total fruits, 6.4% of vegetables and 15% of spices. Everyone knows the success of Amul milk in the country. Gujarat government is successfully working on Narmada Canal project to take water from Narmada river in West to desert area in the East. Solar Energy Panel is topped on this canal at some stretch of canal which provide electricity. Gujarat has put in place a 700 km long water pipeline grid system which in still not reported in mainstream media. And Gujarat now is a water surplus state because of the grid.

We see a lot of cases related to acquisition land from farmers for the sake of development. Earlier Land Acquisition bill 1894 existed across India. On a hearing related to Land acquisition on 4th Aug, 2011, Supreme Court praised the Gujarat government by saying, "But there is one state from where we do not receive any such complaints. Look at Ahmedabad which is developing but there are no complaints from that place. They have the same officers of the same cadre as in the rest of the country"

There can be many more in favor of Modi ! Considering the present situation of India, Modi seems to be the right choice.

Why you should not vote for Modi?

    1. No special treatment to anyone: If any individual, any group, caste, class seek to get special treatment from Modi. You will be disappointed. Modi treats everyone with equality be it Hindu or Muslim and even he doesn't listens to VHP or Bajrang Dal.

I would request you not to vote for any regional party be it RLD in UP, INLD in Haryana or any other regional party because these elections are for our India to choose a strong PM not to give power to regional parties who strike a deal with Central Govt and make Central government weaker.

You can vote to regional parties in Assembly elections.

10 salo tak Congress aur regional parties ne loota h, ek bar Modi par bhi bharosa karke to dekho. Ek bar Modi ke vision par bharosa karke to dekho.

Kahi aisa na ho ke hume vote dene k bad pachtana pade jaise UP ki janta Samajwadi Party ko vote dekar pachhta rahi h.

Nahi pasand aaye to agli bar bhaga dena Modi ko !

For your kind information,Son of Late Sh. Sis Ram Ola ji won from Jhunjhunu Vidhan Sabha in 2013 elections.
There was large anti-incumbency in Rajasthan towards Congress still he won by a margin of around 18,000 votes.

There must be something special in a man who has been continuously representing his constituency since 1957(whether Congress was in rule or opposition).

As far as Delhi is concerned,Jats did not give votes to AAP.It was Dalits.Biharis and some upper-castes who gave votes to AAP.

Aapki yeh saari baat maan li ... lekin jo aadmi 1957 se lagatar MLA/MP rha ho continuously ... usme kuch to aisi baat rahi hogi ... Yahan 2 saal mein anti-incumbency aa jati hai .. yeh parivaar 55 saal se raaj kar rha hai 1 seat par
2013 mein Congress ka Rajasthan mein soopda saaf ho gya ... Jaton ne Congress ko vote hi nahi diye ... Lekin Sis Ram Ola ji ka beta phir bhi nahi haara .. 100-150 nahi poore 18000 ki lead se jeeta

BJP vaise bhi hamesha Jhunjhunu se Rajput ko ticket deti hai ... 2013 mein bhi Rajput aage khada tha .. lekin Ola ke aage phir fail

Jats will never vote for Rajput in Jhunjhunu .. So VK Singh out .. As far as Lt. Gen Kadyan is concerned he will just split the votes of Jats,,nothing more

At the end everything is in public's hand.. Anything may happen .. But Jats of Jhunjhunu are still loyal towards Ola family

Exactly. This is what other fellow members are trying to say. Also, I agree that Ola family is highly respected in the region and has been ruling. But your quoted text above explains the exceptions well.

Lt gen Raj Kadyan is well known within our ex-servicemen. he always fought for their interest. We should not go to petty reasons like outsider or Jat. I think he has never bifurcated Jat Rajput. Sis Ram was so many years MP but nothing did for Jhunjhunu except for his chamchaas.

Sir,,Jats of Jhunjhunu are most politically, socially and educationally aware in Rajasthan.
You can find the maximum no. of people capturing Government Jobs at both state and Centre level from this district ..

Despite the maximum education status among Jats of this district, they always voted for Sis Ram Ola for last 5 decades ..
He was always elected everytime whether Congress was in Government or Opposition .

When in 1998,Atal Bihari Vajpayee declared that he will grant OBC quota to Jats if came to power during rally in Sikar .. BJP won 18 seats out 25 ..
BJP could not dislodge Sis Ram Ola from Jhunjhunu, though BJP won adjoining Churu and Sikar districts .. Even Bhairon Singh Shekhawat a leader of Shekhawati region which includes Jhunjhunu too could never defeat Ola ..

Jats of Jhunjhunu are not illiterate .. They are very well politically and socially aware .. But they are still loyal to Ola family .

Latest proof is Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha elections,Congress reached its all time lowest tally of 28 seats but son of Late Sis Ram Ola ji still won ..

I am not sure BJP would make him against Lt Gen Raj Kadian. But Jat Brethren just need to remember that this Thakar Gen was the main culprit for stopping Gen Suhag to be eligible for Army Chief. Purely an Anti-Jat guy.

    State Elections:

    2. In 1998 - Again Sumitra Singh won from Jhunjhunu. I didnt find any Ola family name in this list of winners. Brijendra was a loser this time. See this : http://eci.nic.in/eci_main/Statistic...port-RAJ98.pdf

    3. Also, in 1977 - Congress had given ticket to SUMITRA SINGH from Jhunjhunu and Not Mr Ola. Sumitra had won. Rather Mr Ola had contested from Pilani but not from Jhunjhunu.

    4. In 2003 - Sumitra Singh won from Jhunjhunu constituency on BJP Ticket. Brijendra Ola s/o Sh Shish Ram Ola on INC ticket had lost to her by 1500 votes in MLA elections.

    MP Elections:

    1. In 1991 - Ayub Khan was the winner from Jhunjhunu MP seat. http://eci.nic.in/eci_main/Statistic...1/VOL_I_91.pdf

Two, both come from communities considered inimical to each other in the heart of Rajasthan. Kadyan is a posterboy of the Jat community, whose numbers dominate Jhunjhunu. Singh is a Thakur, the traditional rulers of the Shekhawati area comprising the desert districts of Jhunjhunu, Sikar and Churu. Jats and Rajputs have traditionally been on the opposite side of the social and political divide in the area and their rivalry has been both bitter and brutal.

Bhai Jitte, Clash of Titans nahi.... Clash of Jats, benifiting Thakur

Article itself says it all, weighing every equation. Leaving no room for further debate.
IMO: It'll be a lost opportunity for Jats, Kadiyan should better move to some another constituency. Just as VK Singh smartely did*, he cornered himself from any constituency in haryana. But he can't now, he's gone beyond point of no return.

Good game by AAP, jaat raaji bhi kar diye jato ka candidate laa ke bera hote hue ki chance se konya (Ola family ke hote ye apas me hi lad kat jayenge)... Saanp bhi mare, ar latthi bhi na tutte.
BJP wale samajhdar likde jo VK Singh ko Haryana se nikal ke Jhunjhnu khada kar diya, jahan iske achche chance hain abb.

(*The BJP, according to reports, was earlier insisting that Singh contest from Haryana. But the General backed out citing the large number of Jat voters in the region.)

Bhai Sahab ... he was MLA from Jhunjhunu till 1996 ..
From 1996,he was continuously MP from Jhunjhunu seat

He won this seat in 11th,12th,13th,14th and 15th Lok Sabha elections .

I said he had been either MLA or MP since 1957 ..
6 times as MLA and 5 times as MP

Jitna main Jhunjhunu ke logon ko janta hoon ,, vo iske blind followers hai ..Zyada dimag lgane ki bajay yeh unanimously Jat candidate ko jeetwane ki koshish karte hai.. Sis Ram Ola was just 10th pass still no one could dislodge him.

Aap RTI lga kar check kar lo ... Rajasthan mein maximum naukri Jhunjhunu ke log lete hai especially in Jat community ..Class I se lekar Class IV tak har naukri mein dabdaba hai yahan ke Jaton ka.. Educationally they are forward in comparison of other Jats of Rajasthan.

Shekhawati region mein BJP Churu aur Sikar mein to jeet jaati hai ... lekin Jhunjhunu seat aaj bhi BJP ki pahuch se bahar hai

Three major Jat families in Rajasthan are Ola family from Jhunjhunu,Mirdha family from Nagaur and Maderna family from Jodhpur.
BJP can defeat/defeated family member of last 2 families but not the Ola family.

1996 se 2014 mein hi 5 decade ho gaye bhai?

Between his MLA and MP stints, he lost few elections and he lost very badly too ( came at 3rd position in one election and had to change his seat in another). Please check the updated details in my post above.

Even his son Brijendra Ola lost 2 MLA elections in series before becoming MLA for last 2 terms.
Junior Ola was defeated in MLA election by BJP candidate in 2003 in Jhunjhunu. So nothing like BJP can not defeat them in Jhunjhunu.

So, no one can guarantee anything about "Ola Bahu!!" . However, our best wishes are with Jat candidates from this constituency.

    State Elections:

    1. 1990 ke election mein MOHD. MAHIR AZAD from Janata Dal had won from Jhunjhunu seat in Rajasthan. See this official document.... http://eci.nic.in/eci_main/Statistic...tRep_RJ_90.pdf

    2. In 1989 - Jagdeep Dhankhar was MP from Jhunjhunu on Janata Dal Ticket....... He had defeated Ayub Khan on 'congress'..... http://eci.nic.in/eci_main/Statistic...ol_I_LS_89.pdf

    3. In 1984 - Md Ayub Khan of INC won from Jhunjhunu seat. Ola family did not contest MP election.

    4. In 1980 - Mr Bhim Singh of JNP won the seat from Jhunjhunu. He Defeated Sumitra Singh of Congress. Shish Ram Ola was at 3rd position. See this : http://eci.nic.in/eci_main/Statistic...ol_I_LS_80.pdf

    5. In 1977 also, Kanhaiya Lal from BLD won the seat......Ola saab was not in picture - http://eci.nic.in/eci_main/Statistic...ol_I_LS_77.pdf

    6. In 1971 elections - Some Shiv Nath Singh from INC had won this seat. Ola saab was not in picture. http://eci.nic.in/eci_main/Statistic...Vol_I_LS71.pdf

    7. In 1967 elections - R K Birla had won this seat. He was from Swatantra Party. No sign of Olas.

Gen. Raj Kadian is a better choice b'cause Gen. Singh has done nothing exceptionally either to his community or for the Indian Armay. A controversial General, who is searching a safe constituency to satisfy his political ambitions....searching a grassy field to fulfill them & having no vision either for the development of the poors or ex-servicemen of the country.....

Bhai Sahab ... na manne Jhunjhunu jakar apna vote dena aur na hi shayad aapne .. Mera vote to Bhiwani mein hai ..

BJP ne thakar VK Singh tai ticket de di Jhunjhunu mein .. Ib Jat vote na de .. BJP candidate nai ..
Rahi baat Lt. Gen. Raj Kadyan ki ... Public ya baat pehla sochegi ki agar hum AAP aale candidate nai vote de daange to vo humne kaun se Laadoo khwa dega ??

Public nai Zameen tai juda aadmi chahiye jo unki chhoti moti baat sun le .. Ghane badde aadmi chhote mote kaam nahi karya karte ..

Rahi baat jeetan ki ... Outsider bhi jeet sake hai .. Ib Dharambeer ka hi example le lo ..Pehla Badhra jake jeetya ... pher Out of District jake Sohna mein bhi jeet gya ..

2005 mein Charkhi Dadri tai Major Nripender Singh Sangwan MLA ban gya ... 4 saal mein usne apne darshan bhi nahi diye Dadri mein ... Apna Chandigarh mein Golf khelta rha .. 2009 mein teesre no. par aaya ... Satpal Sangwan bhi Sangwan vs Phogat factor par jeeta tha .. HJC ke naam par use koi vote nahi mile .. apne dum par jeeta tha ..

Ab ek aur Ex-Serviceman ki baat kar lo ... Badhra se Colonel Raghbir Chhillar MLA hai .. Usne kaun si Vikas ki Ganga baha di ?? Badhra mein kaun sa Eifil Tower ban gya .. Badhra mein kaun si Fauji Canteen khul gayi ??

Yeh sab to kehne ki baat hai ... Celebrity koi vikas nahi karvata ... Siddhu ka hi example le lo ... IPL mein jakar commentry kar leta hai,,Comedy Nights mein Judge ban jata hai lekin Amritsar jaane ka time nahi uske paas ..

Aap bas apni constituency ki tension lo ... Jhunjhunu ke Jat humse kai guna samajhdar hai ... Vo vote apni marzi se daalenge ... na mere kehne se kuch hoga na hi aapke kehne se .. Main to bas unki mentality bta rha tha .. Corruption,Inflation,Anti-incumbency,etc ... yeh factor nahi hote vahan ..

na hi humare Bhiwani mein .. Election aa jane do ... Main khud dikha doonga ... Bhiwani-Mahendergarh mein Jat vs Non-Jat issue par voting hogi .. 2004 mein pehli baar maine vote diya tha tab bhi .. Kuldeed Bishnoi ko cent percent Ahir,Brahman,Khati aur baki non-jats ne vote diye the aur vo jeet gya .. Jat votes split

2009 mein bhi election Jat vs Non-Jat hi tha ... Bhiwani,Dadri,Tosham,Badhra aur Loharu se Shruti Choudhary ne lead li thi lekin .. baki 4 seats par vo peeche thi .. Mahendergarh,Narnaul,Ateli aur Nangal Choudhary se Chautala aur Rao Narender isse aage the .. Vo to Chautala ne Bhajanlal se setting kar rakhi thi aur upar se Shruti Choudhary ko Bansilal ke naam par Jaton ke ek-tarfa vote mil gaye ... nahi 2004 ki tarah phir se non-Jat jeet jata ..

Jahan vote lakhon ke dal rahe ho ,, vahan humare jaise logon ke 10-20 vote idhar udhar ho jaye .. kuch fark nahi padega ...
Bas is baat ka dhyan rakha hai ki hum aatm-ghati goal na kar le ..

In 2014,family members of Chautala win contest from Hisar & Bhiwani on INLD ticket .. BJP+HJC alliance remains intact and Hisar & Karnal seats will go to HJC .

Most probably,BJP will give ticket to a non-Jat from Bhiwani .. So again expect tough fight .

Thik hai bhai sahab ... aap jeete ... Mere 5 decade ka kehne ka matlab yeh tha ki ... Vo first time 1957 mein jeete aur last time 2009 mein ... Shayad Jat Community se vo hi aise aadmi hai jo itne time MLA aur MP bane ..
