(2) Jats got reservation by cabinet decision despite negative recommendation by NCBC - We are glad for it and know its benefits if it continues to be in existance. Again big

(3) Congress deserves credit for this: Partially. They could have done it better and fool-proof way as the members in NCBC were their chamchas only.
(4) They deserve votes for this: a big NO !!! Reasons explained in the point above.

We can vote for Congress after seeing the benefits and life of this decision. May be in 2024 - but not now !!

Thank you for mentioning our efforts Prashant. I used to think the same alike you but its a fact that opposition cant give you anything. Hawa Singh Sahab has mentioned it many times that we don't want credit as credit goes to the one who gives. Give reservation and take credit. However its true that Hooda and ajit Singh along with most Jat MPs have created an internal pressure. No govt gives it without pressure external or internal. So be it.

Just imagine the guys preparing for prestigious exams like state and centre administrative services. Not only they would get more chances but a strong moral boosts for their preparation. We all are cognizant of officers produced by Meena/Yadav community because of this reservation.

If it goes in court, this would be a long battle. In the mean time our guys would start availing it and as a result of which more non-interested people will stand against if next govt or court put a stay.

All in all this election gimmick or stunt is benefitial.

I partly disagree on your main point as its procedural development. Before main agitation, NCBC did not have the power to review the status of any BC again. Due to lack of proper representation in 1997 NCBC has rejected the plea and again in 2010. After 2010 agitation, group of minister was formed and that committiee gave power to NCBC to review it. Even if its your government, you still need some procedures. NCBC is a constitutnal body.

At anyday , its your vote. You can use it the way you please. I don't want to see any Non-Jat CM in Haryana as personal liking. Hooda went out of the way to grant SBC. I am not sure a Non-Jat BJP backed CM would have even thought. Further After Devilal, their species were never keen on this issues but keep on repeating the 'economic' base for reservation.

कांग्रेस की चाल सफल होती दिखाई दे रही है, अभी दो दिन पहले जाटों को आरक्षण दिया गया है (कैबिनेट ने पास किया है).


किन्तु इसका सबसे अधिक विरोध मुसलमान कर रहे हैं, उनका कहना है कि पहले साम्प्रदायिक हिंसा बिल पास करो.



कहीं ये सोनिया की चाल तो नहीं कि पहले जाटों को चारा डालो और फिर ये बिल भी पास करा लो.

Others in supporting role are/were Political Advisors of Sonia , Junior Hooda , Union Minister SELJA , Bahurani of Dholpur Vasundhra (though BJP CM).

Roda atkane walo mein Pandat Janardhan Dwivedi & his phuss batallion.

Jat Sikh of Punjab were excluded to promote YES from cabinet as that sect of JAT is hated by PRINCE-IN-TURN RAHUL GANDHI.

Statutory Warning : All OBC are fearing a lot. Have portion of hate.

Beyond pure electoral compulsions, I dont think there were any real backers of reservation in the govt or Congress. All thanks to the efforts of the community leaders who kept up the pressure and the govt had to bow.

Regarding Jat Sikhs - I don't think there was a strong demand for reservation. Apart from a few mid-level leaders, there was no major participation in rallies from Punjab.

Though a welcome step...yet taken for political gains..approved at a crucial time just to appease voters...But I don't think Congress is lokely to be much benefited by taking this much awaited step as they have a lot of time earlier to get the same passed from the parliament. Anyway Jat's are smart enough to decide to whom they shall vote. Cogress is doing each & everything just to fancy their chances in the forthcoming elections..

दलित-पिछड़ा एकता संघ" की जल्द होगी स्थापना : सांगवान
अखिल भारतीय जाट आरक्षण संघर्ष समिति के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष पूर्व कमांडेंट हवाङ्क्षसह सांगवान ने एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में बताया कि 10 मार्च से पहले-पहले दलित-पिछड़ा एकता संघ" की स्थापना कर दी जाएगी, जिसका पहला उद्देश्य होगा अपने आरक्षण की रक्षा करना तथा भविष्य में अपने सवैंधानिक अधिकारों के लिए आंदोलन करना।
सांगवान ने आगे बतलाया कि जो नेता आरक्षण का विरोध कर रहे थे और धर्म के नाम पर लोगों की धार्मिक भावनाओं को भडक़ाकर वोट मांगते रहे और इसके अतिरिक्त वे नेता, जो दलित और पिछड़ों के आरक्षण को आर्थिक आधार पर देने की वकालत करते रहे, की आने वाले चुनाव में संघ अच्छी तरह खबर लेगा और गांव की चौपालों में उनको खुले मंच पर भारतीय संविधान का पाठ पढ़ाया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि कुछ ऐसे नेता भी पैदा हो गए हैं, जो परिवारवाद का तो विरोध करते हैं, लेकिन अपने नाम के साथ अपने दादा-परदादा या पूर्वजों का नाम जोड़ते हैं। ऐसे नेताओं की भी कमी नहीं है, जो दलितों और पिछड़ों के वोट बटोरने के लिए गिरगिट की तरह अपने कपड़े और पार्टी बदलते हैं। यह भी आश्चर्यजनक बात है कि कुछ नेता यह कहते हैं कि उनका न्यायालय में विश्वास नहीं है और वे ही नेता अपनी मुक्ति के लिए न्यायालयों में गुहार लगाते हैंं।
सांगवान ने जोर देकर कहा कि संघ का कार्य एक मिशन के तौर पर होगा, जो पूर्णतया हमारे महापुरुषों महात्मा ज्योतिबा फूले, चौ. छोटूराम तथा डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर की नीतियों पर चलते हुए उन नेताओं को सबक सिखाएगा जो हमारे भोले-भाले वर्गों के लोगों को बहकाकर उनके वोट बटोरने के साथ-साथ अपना घर भरने का भी काम करते हैं। ऐसे नेताओ के प्रचार को नेस्तनाबूद करके उनकी असली पोल हम खोलेंगे। इस विषय में हम ऐसे नेताओं को भविष्य में खुली बहस की चुनौती भी देंगे।

केंद्र सरकार को हम इस बात के लिए तहेदिल से धन्यवाद देते हैं कि उसने जाट समाज को केंद्र स्तर पर पिछड़े वर्ग में शामिल कर लिया
आज दिनांक 03 मार्च, 2014 को प्रेस क्लब ऑफ इंडिया, नई दिल्ली में अखिल भारतीय जाट आरक्षण संघर्ष समिति, हरियाणा प्रदेश इकाई की प्रेस वार्ता हुई, जिसमें संघर्ष समिति के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष पूर्व कमांडेंट हवासिंह सांगवान, युवा राष्ट्रीय महासचिव जसविंद्र सिंह बिसला, प्रदेश महासचिव चौ. श्यामसिंह ठाकरान, प्रधान खाप झाड़सा 360 और समिति के प्रदेश युवा महासचिव विनोद खोरड़ा ने संयुक्त रूप से बतलाया कि केंद्र सरकार ने जाट समाज को पिछड़े वर्ग में शामिल करके उनके भाईचारे की जातियों में मिलाकर एक बहुत बड़ा साहसिक और न्यायप्रिय कार्य किया है क्योंकि जाट समाज सन् 1990 से मंडल कमीशन की रिपोर्ट लागू होने के बाद से अपनी पिछड़ी जातियों से अलग हो गया था, इसीलिए जाट समाज न तो स्वर्ण समाज का हिस्सा था, न ही पिछडे वर्ग का अर्थात लगभग 23 साल से अधर में लटक रहा था। इसलिए आज जाट समाज केंद्र सरकार के फैसले से पूर्णतया संतुष्ट और प्रसन्न है।
इस साहसिक और न्यायपूर्ण फैसले के लिए जाट समाज यूपीए चेयरपर्सन श्रीमति सोनिया गांधी जी, माननीय प्रधानमंत्री डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह जी, कांग्रेस पार्टी के उपाध्यक्ष श्री राहुल गांधी जी, वित्त मंत्री श्री पी. चिदंबरम जी तथा कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ और वयोवृद्ध नेता चौ. बलराम जाखड़ जी के आशीर्वाद का कोटि-कोटि धन्यवाद करते हैं तथा हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री चौ. भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा जी तथा रोहतक के सांसद श्री दीपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा जी के प्रयासों की भूरी-भूरी प्रशंसा करते हुए हम उनको भी धन्यवाद देेेते हैं।
हमने यह भी फैसला लिया है कि निकट भविष्य में दलित-पिछड़ा एकता संघ की सबसे पहले हरियाणा में स्थापना की जाएगी, जिसका उद्देश्य होगा उनको दिए हुए आरक्षण की सुरक्षा करना तथा भविष्य में इन वर्गों के सवैंधानिक अधिकारों के लिए संघर्ष करना, जिसमें सबसे पहली मांग होगी कि पिछड़े वर्ग को उनकी 54 प्रतिशत जनसंख्या के अनुसार आरक्षण दिया जाए, जो घटाकर 27 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया, वह पूर्णतया गैर सवैंधानिक है। दूसरा दलित समाज के लिए उच्च न्यायालयों व सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में भी यह आरक्षण लागू किया जाए, जो अभी तक नहीं दिया गया है। तीसरा, दलित और पिछड़े वर्गों की बैकलॉग वैकेंसियों को केेंद्र और सभी राज्यों में तुरंत भरा जाए। यह जानने का विषय है कि भारतीय संविधान के अनुसार आरक्षण का उद्देश्य पूरे देश में सामाजिक समानता लाना है और आरक्षण तब तक लागू रहना चाहिए, जब तक यह उद्देश्य पूरा नहीं हो जाता, चाहे इसमें सैंकड़ों वर्ष क्यों न लग जाएं। किसी भी व्यक्ति का सामाजिक स्तर ढूंढने के लिए उसकी जाति का जानना जरूरी है, इसीलिए आरक्षण को जाति के आधार पर लागू किया गया है। आर्थिक आधार की बात करने वाले नेता दलित और पिछड़ों को सरेआम गुमराह कर रहे हैं।
जहां तक राजनीति की बात है, आने वाले भविष्य में दलित-पिछड़ा एकता संघ अपने वर्गों के लिए राजनीतिक लड़ाई लड़ेगा क्योंकि उनके वर्गों की जनसंख्या देश में 85 प्रतिशत से अधिक है, तथा हरियाणा में 80 प्रतिशत से अधिक है। जबकि सरकारी नौकरियों में इनकी हिस्सेदारी इनकी जनसंख्या के अनुसार कहीं भी नजदीक नहीं है। इसलिए आने वाले चुनाव में हमारा रूख इस प्रकार से रहेगा :
1. हम हमारे पूर्वजों महात्मा ज्योबिता फूले, दीनबंधु चौ. छोटूराम और बाबा साहेब डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर की नीतियों पर चलते हुए धर्म की राजनीति का पूर्णतया बहिष्कार करते हैं और हम अच्छी तरह जानते हैं कि आरएसएस एक पेशवा धर्मांथ लोगों का संगठन है, जिसने अपने 88 साल के इतिहास में कभी किसी दलित और पिछड़े को अपना अध्यक्ष नहीं बनाया, लेकिन अभी अपनी स्वार्थ सिद्धि के लिए और पिछड़ी जाति के वोटों को ठगने के लिए भारतीय जनता पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेताओं को दर-किनार करते हुए नरेंद्र मोदी को प्रधानमंत्री पद का दावेदार बना दिया है, जिसे हम दलित और पिछड़े पूरी तरह से नकारते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त नरेंद्र मोदी की प्रधानमंत्री बनने के लिए कोई योग्यता नहीं है, उनको तो साधारण ज्ञान का भी पता नहीं है। वे अपने भाषणों में तक्षशिला को बिहार में बतलाते हैं, जबकि वह पाकिस्तान में है। सिकंदर का कत्ल गंगा किनारे बतला रहे हैं, जबकि उनकी मौत तीर लगने के कारण बॉबीलॉन में हुई थी। इससे भी बढक़र आश्चर्यजनक यह है कि उन्होंने हाल ही में गांधीनगर में दिए एक भाषण में कहा कि शहीद भगतसिंह को अंडेमान द्वीप जेल भेजा गया था, जबकि सच्चाई यह है कि उन्हें वहां कभी भेजा ही नहीं गया। जब सन् 1948 में महात्मा गांधी की हत्या की गई, तो तत्कालीन गृह मंत्री सरदार पटेल ने आरएसएस को प्रतिबंधित कर दिया था और उसी आरएसएस ने नरेंद्र मोदी को प्रधानमंत्री पद का दावेदार घोषित किया और यही नरेंद्र मोदी आज सरदार पटेल की प्रतिमा बनाने के लिए गांव-गांव से लोहा इक_ा कर रहे हैं। ये किस प्रकार की राजनीति है? आरएसएस एक पूर्णतया सांप्रदायिक संगठन है और बीजेपी उसकी परछाई। आज तक धार्मिक दंगों में जितने भी आयोग बैठे हैं, उन्होंने आरएसएस को हमेशा एक सांप्रदायिक संगठन माना है। इससे यह स्पष्ट है कि आरएसएस बनाम भारतीय जनता पार्टी देश की एकता के लिए सबसे बड़ा खतरा है। इसीलिए यह आरएसएस का एक षडयंत्र है, जो धर्म के नाम से हिंदुओं को बहकाकर वोट बटोरना चाहता है, जिसे हम पूर्णतया खारिज ही नहीं, इसकी निंदा भी करते हैं। इससे भी बढक़र नरेंद्र मोदी ने स्वयं अपने भाषण में स्वीकार किया है कि भाजपा व्यापारियों की सेना है, इसलिए दलित और पिछड़ों का इस पार्टी से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है। यह भी बिल्कुल झूठा प्रचार किया जा रहा है कि गुजरात हरियाणा से विकास में आगे है, जबकि विकास के क्षेत्र में गुजरात हरियाणा के कहीं भी नजदीक नहीं है। हम आपको लिखित रूप में सौ से अधिक क्षेत्रों का ब्यौरा दे रहे हैं, जिसमें हरियाणा गुजरात से कहीं आगे है। नरेंद्र मोदी अपने आप को राष्ट्रवादी बतलाकर हरियाणा का अपमान कर रहे हैं क्योंकि हरियाणा के हर गांव में शहीदों की प्रतिमाएं लगी हुई हैं, जबकि गुजरात में ढूंढने से भी ऐसी प्रतिमाएं मुश्किल से मिल पाएंगी। फिर भी नरेंद्र मोदी राष्ट्रभक्ति का पाठ पढ़ाने हरियाणा आ जाते हैं। सभी जानते हैं कि गुजरात एक व्यापारियों का प्रदेश है, जो स्वाभाविक तौर पर शांतिप्रिय होते हैं। इसीलिए गुजरात पर तो हरियाणा की एक छोरी भी राज कर सकती है।
2. लाला केजरीवाल एक हताश व्यक्ति है। जब वह आईएएस नहीं बन पाया तो इसका जिम्मेवार उसने आरक्षण को ठहराया और अपनी राजनीति की शुरूआत उसने आरक्षण के विरोध में यूथ फॉर इक्वेलिटी नाम से संगठन बनाकर तथा हाथ में झाडू लेकर शुरू की। इसके बाद इसके शातिर दिमाग ने अन्ना हजारे के आंदोलन का अपहरण करके उसी झाडू को अपना निशान चुनकर राजनीतिक पार्टी बनाई और दिल्ली के लोगों को बिजली और पानी के मुद्दे पर बहकाकर दिल्ली की सत्ता हथियाई। जब हकीकत से सामना हुआ तो लालाजी मैदान छोडक़र भाग खड़े हुए। कहने को यह आम आदमी की पार्टी है, लेकिन इसके सभी शीर्ष नेता उच्च जातियों से हैं, जिसमें योगेंद्र यादव भी एक बंगाली ब्राह्मणी से शादी करके ऊंची जमात में जा बैठा है। लाला केजरीवाल भ्रष्टाचार के नाम पर लोगों को सरेआम गुमराह कर रहे हैं, जबकि उसके सगे मामा रामबाबू अग्रवाल के खिलाफ अभी कुछ दिन पहले भ्रष्टाचार के एक मामले में गैर जमानती वारंट जारी हो चुके हैं। इसलिए इसे दलित और पिछड़ों के आरक्षण पर झाडू फेरने से पहले अपने रिश्तेदारों के भ्रष्टाचार पर झाडू फेरना चाहिए। लालाजी केवल कारपोरेट जगत के एक मुखौटा भर हैं, जिसकी पोल खुल चुकी है। इसी कारण वे विदेशों से मिलने वाले चंदे का आज तक केंद्र सरकार को हिसाब नहीं दे पा रहे हैं। हम लाला जी को बताना चाहते हैं कि हरियाणा दिल्ली नहीं है कि वे लोगों को पानी और बिजली के नाम पर बहका सकें।
3. क्षेत्रीय पार्टियां दलित और पिछड़े के अधिकारों की कभी भी सुरक्षा नहीं कर सकती हैं और न ही केंद्र स्तर पर उनको किसी प्रकार का अधिकार दिलवा सकती हैं। कहने को ये पार्टियां बार-बार फ्रंट बनाने की बात करती हैं, जबकि आज तक इनका कोई फ्रंट सफल नहीं हुआ क्योंकि फ्रंट तो छोड़ो, इनकी कोई बैक ही नहीं है। ये पार्टियां अपने पारीवारिक हितों को साधने के लिए गांवों के भोले-भोले लोगों को बहकाने के अतिरिक्त कोई दूसरा काम नहीं करतीं, न ही इनके पास किसी प्रकार की कोई राष्ट्रीय योजना या सोच होती है।
इसलिए हम दलित और पिछड़ी जातियों के भाईयों को सावधान करना चाहते हैं क्योंकि जो भी नेता दलित और पिछड़ों के लिए आर्थिक आधार पर आरक्षण की वकालत करते हैं, वे नेता हम दलित और पिछड़ों के सबसे बड़े दुश्मन हैं। इसलिए हमें इनकी पहचान करके हमारे लोगों को बताना होगा। इसलिए हमारी नीति बड़ी स्पष्ट है कि हम दलित और पिछड़ी जातियों के लोगों को किसी धर्म और जाति के नाम पर बहकाने वाले नेताओं की चालों में नहीं आना है और न ही हमें भेडचाल में सम्मिलित होना है। इसीलिए किसी विद्वान ने कहा है

अर्थात इस दुनिया में लोगों को भेड़चाल की आदत होती है। जब एक भेड़ कुएं में गिरती है तो सभी भेड़ें उसके पीछे-पीछे कुएं में गिर जाती हैं।
इसलिए हमारा कहना है कि हम भेड़ नहीं हैं, हम भी उच्च जातियों की तरह इंसान हैं और एक सोच रखते हैं। हम ये पूर्णतया विचार करके कहना चाहते हैं कि दलित और पिछड़ों का भला आज तक केवल कांग्रेस ने ही किया है और भविष्य में भी केवल कांग्रेस पार्टी कर सकती है, जिसकी जड़ें पूरे देश में फैली हुई हैं। इसलिए सभी दलित और पिछड़ों को चाहिए कि वे कांग्रेस की हर तरह से मदद करके इसे मजबूत बनाएं ताकि हमारे अधिकारों की रक्षा हो सके और हमारे वर्गों का भला हो सके।

I was just going through the letter of Mangotra who is the member secretary Backward Commission to GOI outrightly rejecting reservation to Jats posted by Satender Vaire bhai.

This decision of reservation is bound to be challenged in the Supreme Court for sure. The govt. had full 10 years with it. Why did it not set up a commission like the Sachar Commission to do a detailed study on Jat backwardness. At least, in the face of National Backward Commission rejection, the govt. would have had some reasoning/ground/defence to fall back upon for its decision of giving reservation.

Hence, the Congress while knowing that ultimately reservation for Jats would never be able to stand on its two feet for long, has aimed at encashing Jat sentiment. At least, this sentiment will help carry the Congress through the elections or so the Congress hopes.
