Good opportunity for young professionals to work in policy formulation. Similar openings (temporary/time based) keep arising in various govt. departments/ministries which give exposure to professionals in policy formulation and also to some extent in implementation and monitoring.

These jobs are for people who want to gain the relevant experience. If your are currently a federal/provincial govt. employee then you can also think of taking this opportunity on deputation basis.

    It's not a question of temporary/permanent jobs.

Moreover, the vacancies are not job vacancies per se. These are work opportunities where people with certain specialized qualifications get to work on certain govt. projects in various departments/ministries. These are project based time-lined appointments which aim to gain from the talent pool for the organisation and to provide rich learning for the professionals.

In case you would be interested in a permanent job, this certainly would not be your cup of tea, but yes it is a good opportunity for people who would be looking for project-based/time-based assignments and further enrich themselves professionally in terms of policy formulation and possibly implementation skills.

Hope your question is answered now!
