कुछ धर्म के सौदागरों द्वारा की गयी मशहूरी सुनकर मुझे भी ये फिल्म देखनी पड़ी I खामखाँ की हाय तौबा मचा रखी है I बॉलीवुड के routine कूड़े कबाड़ से हट कर ये एक ठीक ठाक फिल्म है जो अंधविश्वास और धर्म के कारोबारीकरण पर अच्छी चोट करती है I हाँ थोड़ा सा इस्लामी कट्टरपन और पैसे के बल पर दुनिया भर में ईसाई मिशनरीज द्वारा किये जाने वाले धर्म परिवर्तन पर भी बराबर जोर दिया जा सकता था, जिसका अनुपात मुझे थोड़ा कम नज़र आया I हिन्दु अन्धविश्वाश से कहीं अधिक खतरा आज इस्लाम के नाम पर कुछ जंगली जानवरों द्वारा फैलाया जा रहा आतंकवाद है जिसको फिल्मों में तवज्जोह दी जानी बहुत जरूरी है I हिन्दु उग्रवाद और अन्धविश्वास उसके सामने कम चिंता का विषय है, क्योंकि यह तो सिर्फ एक देश के कुछ भागों में ही है और उसे भी शिक्षित समाज का काफ़ी बड़ा हिस्सा धीरे धीरे नकारता जा रहा है I लेकिन आतंकवाद का खात्मा धर्म के नाम पर उन्माद फैला कर नहीं किया जा सकता I ये काम सरकारी तंत्र, जैसे सुरक्षा एजेंसियों, फ़ौज़,पुलिस और गुप्तचर विभाग का है न की धर्म के सौदागरों का I अगर उन्हें फिल्म की कहानी पसंद नहीं है तो सेंसर बोर्ड से शिकायत कर सकते हैं I धार्मिक गुंडागर्दी फैलाकर कला का गला घोंटने की आज़ादी प्रजातंत्र में किसी को नहीं होनी चाहिए I वैसे भी इस फिल्म का निर्माता, निदेशक और कहानीकार हिन्दु ही हैं और सिर्फ इसीलिये इसका विरोध करना कि इसमें मुख्य कलाकार मुस्लिम है तथ्यों को तोड़ने मरोड़ने वाली बात है I

जाटों के युवाओ इससे भी अच्छे तरीके से आँखें खोलने को मैं इससे अच्छा उदाहरण और कहाँ से लाऊँ? यह हिन्दू गैर-जाट बात पे कितने जल्दी एक हो जाते हैं, परन्तु जब तुम्हारी अपनी मान-मान्यताओं की धज्जियाँ उड़ाई जा रही हैं होती हैं तो बोलना तो दूर अपितु यह खुद धज्जियाँ उड़ा रहे होते हैं|
आज आमिर खान को कोसा जा रहा है, कि उसने इस्लाम की गलत चीजों को क्यों नहीं दिखाया, क्या कोई मीडिया वाला (याद रहे 90% मीडिया वाले जो जाट और खाप के खिलाफ बोलते आये हैं वो हिन्दू ही हैं) बताएगा कि इन्होनें गैर-जाट हिन्दुओं की गलत चीजों को आजतक उसी तरीके से जाति और संस्था का टैग लगा के क्यों नहीं दिखाया जैसे जाट और खाप का दिखाते हैं?
पूछो इनसे पूरे सोशल मीडिया पे चिल्ला-चिल्ला के, इनके ही औजार कलम की लेखनी से इनपे हल्ला बोल-बोल के| गूँज इतनी ऊँची करो कि मीडिया-हाऊसों तक जाये| चिपकाओ इस सवाल को सोशल मीडिया पे बैठे हर हिन्दू और हिन्दू मीडिया वाले की वाल पे| हर आरएसएस, बजरंग दल, हिन्दू परिषद, भागवत बाबा, तोगड़िया और सुबमण्यन स्वामी की वाल पे| और ये जितने भी "पी के" फिल्म को ले के रोना रोने वाले हैं इनकी वाल पे तो 'हा के' डालो ('हा के" का हरियाणवी में मतलब जरूर-से-जरूर)| - फूल मलिक

I shared my views on PK controversy on FB also which I share as under:

Through ages, the cloistered theologians and their religious tantrums have been biggest impediment to the evolution and crystallization of a progressive outlook and its applicability to the evolutionary cycle of a civilization for ushering into a better, progressive and scientific society. The self-styled god-men, religious faith-heads of all shades, renegades, and fringe outfits of political parties as well as their intellectually bankrupt political masters have been imposing their archaic thoughts, outdated customs and useless rituals to perpetuate their domain of superstition, backwardness and blind faith in pursuit of their personal goals and self-aggrandizement. Anything new, be it film, painting or a book which militates against their outdated thoughts, makes them nervous. Nowadays, a cine movie named PK has made them nervous. I am not a regular cine-goer but the rowdiness of some lumpen elements attracted my attention too tempting me to watch the movie, which I did yesterday. I was amazed after watching the movie that why this hullabaloo. There is nothing in the film which would make it controversial. It is a movie worth watching which conveys an effective and good message against the evil practices in a comic and artistic fashion. This kind of attitude does not augur well for development of creative art and free flow of thoughts. Films are an effective tool for spreading awareness against social evils. Any attempt to suffocate the intellectuals and artists and to stop them from making progressive creations will only backfire in the long run. Could the contemporary tyrant rulers reverse or stop the scientific truths propounded by Galileo?

Kuritiyon ko theek karna achhi baat hae - Lekin sirf bolne se kuchh nahi hoga. Uske liye kuchh karna bhi hoga jaise Raja Ram Mohan Roy ne kiya. Iss liye achha hota jo iss dharm ko gaali dete hain, woh bahar nikal ke usse reform karne ke liye kuchh karte.

Finally, aaj kal waise bhi fashionable ho gaya hae - blame any and every wrong on Hindu religion.

My question still remains unanswered - If criticizing Hinduism (or the so called wrong in it) through a movie is creativity, art and intellectualism, WHY NO SUCH ART, CREATIVITY AND INTELLECTUALLISM WHEN IT COMES TO ISLAM, SIKHISM OR CHRISTIANITY. I guess these are perfect for the enlightened souls.

Before squarely blaming the 'enlightened souls' and the 'intellectuals', you should have checked the establishment's viewpoint, which happens to be of your own taste and choice. Now, there are two questions; i) does the film censor board enjoy some sanctity ii) if not, what action the government has taken against it.

It should also be made clear as to whether the country should be run by an elected government and its constitutional institutions or by a mob orchestrated by the rowdy fringe groups. There has to be some clarity whether we want to sustain democracy or a mobocracy. Frankly speaking, we are fed up with your hollow intellectualism and hackneyed preachings. Please come clean on the dichotomy of governance as pointed out by me above. In simple and plain language, who is running the country - the elected government or the fringe groups consisting of overtly superstitious, brazenly casteist, rank opportunists and the lumpen elements of this country. Please try to give a brief and to the point reply.
