    Ancient migrating people dress

Tribes which were riding horses and had migrational nature were easily recognized by their dresses.

This can be clearly seen in the dresses of the women especially in Jats and Gujjars. While the Indian women dress was a "Sari", women of Jats, Gujjars and other such tribes wore "Skirt" and "Payjama". Such dresses are worn by working women. A "Sari" on the other hand was a non working dress which may have its origin in south India or east of India.
