Plundering of natural resources and unsustainable development

What are the Governments at state and central levels doing to maintain a sustainable development?

There seems to be all out plundering of natural resources. We have seen in past how Aravalli hills were destroyed by this unsustainable development.

Aravalli hills is not the only resource that has been destroyed by wrong policies and illegal activities, there are many such instances.

Nature that is being plundered at an unmanageable level.

What are the governments doing to stop this till it reaches unmanageable level.

    Dear ,
Water is one of the most precious resource, What Haryana farmers will do when all the river water will be used for drinking due to heavy migration in NCR and Delhi. Delhi is planning to give water free of cost and there is so much wastage of water in Delhi . No one is thinking of stopping wastage. "Harayana ke Kisan Bali Ke Bakre Bante Ja Rahe Hey".
Farmers of Haryana should rise and should fight for their right to get access to river water. Without river water their ground water will become salty and land will become Banjar after maximum of 10 years.

Yes, rivers, hills, mountains, etc. are being mined and plundered this is also going to lead to an unmanageable situation.

The bigger picture also includes "Land acquisition".

If cities, industrial areas, etc. expand the way they are expanding and each individual land area anywhere near a road is plotted, and the farm area is going to become a jungle of concrete, this is going to lead to unmanageable situations, not only in-terms of natural disaster but rather this is a humanitarian disaster.

India can not progress like Amerika or China.

Resources to population ratio of India is very different from Amerika and China.

Any government which is on the path of "Acquiring land and converting it to concrete cities and industrial estates is on a wrong path".

Land acquisition should be banned and reassessment of the land situation must be done.

Most of the big cities of the world are either based near sea shores or have miles of empty spaces around them.

Each Indian city is expending exponentially. Calculating the pollution generated by vehicles in a city, people breathing, soil area being turned into concrete and the area of forest around the city, one will find that most of the cities of India are expanding at uncontrollable and unsustainable rate. City like Delhi, which is totally land locked has its area decreasing in-terms of forest area/soil area/green area. Spaces between one city to another e.g. Delhi to any other neighboring city is also becoming concrete jungle.
