Recent state assembly election results revived the political fate of BJP with a thumping victory in Assam.

The most disappointing part of these elections is a never ending flop show of Congress.

A step towards Congress free nation. Time for introspection.
I have a fine sense of the ridiculous, but no sense of humor.

It would be better if you replace the word "disappointing" with "exciting".

Is India heading in wrong direction, where religion and uneducated classes with blind following will surpass educated middle class and the educated class?

"Disappointing" was used to sympathize the Congress supporters.
Perhaps Pondicherry results eased the pain of humiliating defeat in other states.

Next Union govt could be a mili juli sarkaaar. Regional parties will play a bigger role in deciding govt. UP and Punjab elections will clear the picture and Gujarat elections year after will decide who will form the govt in centre. Clearly BJP is now a national party. Congress gone for long time unless they get rid of Gandhis and bring new faces to rejuvenate the party which is highly unlikely.

What is the difference between Educated Middle Class and Educated Class?
Do you see defeat of Congress as a defeat of Educated class or you can say Sophisticated Intellectuals like you?

These days its not that easy for any party to dominate. Competition is too high in politics also. Even in Nagar Nigam and Panchayat elections it's a cut throat competition. Right wing parties are doing their best to polarize vote bank by flaring up communal tensions. Right wing party like BJP also has two faces depending upon regional dynamics. In Kerala and southern regions, this right wing party tries to portray itself as slight secular compared to politics in north. I would not write off congress also. People cannot eat same food all the time. They need change albeit a quick change. Gone are those days when one party use to dominate all the time. BJP will also loose its hold at some stage. Its just a matter of time.

It is exactly this type of fear mongering, assumptions and correlations that is taking down our political system. We vote, or ask not to vote on personalities and not on issues.

How good has Modi proved himself, you voted on his personality?
How educated is his counsel of ministers? hint: HRD Minister Irani

Although you were saying it is as sarcasm but indeed BJP is bad for Jats- look at the casts of recently suspended officers in Haryana or what BJP MPs like Saini and Ashwini Chopra are saying.

How so? Has not Congress improved in vote share in all the states barring Assam? Has not it performed much better than BJP in all the states barring Assam?

This is what BJP has done in last one and half year in Haryana:

    1. Divided community based on cast.
    2. Sharp increase in crime
    3. Every govt. employee is crying against the Govt. policies
    4. Something big is cooking - four explosions in last four month in Haryana ( never happened before).
    5. No infrastructure improvement or maintenance work.
    6. More taxes from centre govt.
The word "EQUAL" has no meaning in human life

Entire political system works on following things:

    1. Goonism
    2. Being Downtrodden
    3. Strong blind religious feelings
    4. Family politics
    5. Cult of business class, which feeds the citizens from good to the most adulterated material. This business class has its roots from the village to bigger cities. This is having a devastating effect on environment, society and everyday life of people.

    9. All hype no substance.
    10. Diverting public's attention from main issues to sensationalism.

This does not pertain to one political party but rather the entire political system.

Problem with the government in the center is that it does not know What to value? Who to value?
Government at the center was brought to power, so that it can deliver some foreseeable results. There are few people in the center who are trying to do that but most of it is far from reality that middle class is facing. The real educated middle class is shrinking interms of its electoral value, which is a dangerous trend.

Entire political structure is governed by people who has deep religious backing.

Problem is How and when does a country and its citizens learn concepts of life? Starting from the parliamentarians to executionary people all fall in the same category. This is a dangerous trend in a country, where uneducated, first generation educated people have the maximum monitory, political and criminal resources and the political class is creating shows to please such a section of society. Shows in the form of big names like allocation of crores of rupees for this and that, creating smart cities, etc. This is not a case of one political party but rather all the political parties, that has a legacy connection to the politics.
In addition to all this there is a lot of propaganda in media which is far from reality.
Government at the center must not forget that it can has the same fate as some other political parties.

Parties like BJP have not been in central governance for long and even in the past not for much time. Some of the ministers do have the will to do good, it seems so and most of the ministers are not involved in criminal activities or huge monetary scandals. Again they do not have strong representation and are resistant to restructuring their political structure in the states.
Parties like BJP are working on legacy structures, which can result in total washout and lead to emergence of wrong elements in India political system as we have seen in states like UP. Parties like BJP need to emerge out of catchy words like "Smart cities", etc.
