Reunion of Haryana state of pre-1857 is the best way possible to get Jats united.

    Dosat,

Mere vichar se philhal to sarkaar MINIMUM SUPPORT PRICE nirdharit karati hai woh bhi kuchh krishi utpadon ke; yedi unka adhik mulya khule bazar me kisanon ko milta ho to unse jabarn khridaari ka koi farmaan jari nahin karti.

kisan khule bazar mein apne utpaad swayam dwara nirdharit rate pe bechne ko swatantar hain.

Agar meri yeh jaankari galat hai to mein muafi chahunga aur prarthana karoonga ki krishi utpaadon ka mulya nirdharan ka kaun sa naya formula aya hai woh is thread pe share kiya jaye.

Agar yeh baat sahi hai to phir is thread topic pe kya bahas karne ko bachta hai !

I am far from being an expert in the topic, but belongs to both the farmer as well as consumer class. Rice price has been stashed like anything. However, in the abroad market, we still pay more or less the same thing. BJP is yet to do anything substantial for the farmers. If they do not, i do not think people will have selective memory in 2019. Specially the new formed govt. in Haryana is more or less a big failure. The Central BJP has been ignoring the results visible in the public domain. MSP is always decided to keep the farmers margin low, however the business people are still able to make a fortune out of it.

BIP had promised in their election manifesto to implement Swaminathan Committee report on MSP but has yet to respond !

But the topic of discussion under the thread does not demand MSP, rather freedom for farmers to fix rates of their farm produce without intervention of traders and government. Is their ban on it now. Government just fixes minimum support price and farmers are free to sell their produce in open market if they get higher price than MSP fixed prices of certain items.

Many enterprising farmers sell their sugar-cane and rice in open market at higher rate than fixed MSP, But to earn better remuneration they have to make extra efforts.

Then, there are several farm produces which are not covered under MSP which farmers sell in open market.

Diversification of cropping pattern and agricultural practices with addition of floriculture/horticulture/animal husbandry/ bee keeping etc. also small scale agriculture based industries is the only choice before small and marginal farmers.

But this thread subject cannot allow us much scope on the issue.

Also read good discussion on the condition of farmers in below given link

and if you like you can share your views on MSP and other related farmers' cause /problems there.
