Thread: Aftermath of reservation agitation in Haryana

Scapegoat for their own failure and inexperience. BJP is also blaming INLD, congress for proposed stir. On a side note, Saini is saying that it was just a slip of tongue on Prakash committee finding about his abusive speech on jaats. Instead he is blaming jaats for influencing Prakash committee report.

Rumors from Jasaiya, Rohtak - Jat protesters are planning to boycott Jat leaders of all Parties if they don't support the agitation by Monday and will vote for Mayawati in Haryana and U.P. who is supporting Jats demand of reservation. Any news about this?

It will be good if JAT understand this , Support only Party who openly support Jats then only other party will realize Power of JATS Vote.

BJP govt is trying to put all the pressure it could to diffuse second round of this agitation. All sorts of news are spread. Govt is giving warning to Jat youths for dire consequences for participating in Dharnas. Yesterday Govt also gave a hint to mull options on how to recover money from Jats for paramilitary deployment costs. Buses are off route from Dharna Sites. And Governor of the state has also made statements like there is a tense enviornment in villages due to second round of agitation despite the fact that this second round of agitation has received a lukewarm response from the community.

Rajkumar Saini is again barking and BJP is doing nothing but instead charged 5 youths who threw ink on Saini under section 307(attempt to murder).

Raj Kumar Saini is close to Amit Sahah and then again close to Modi....
BJP can through Kirti Azad an honest person out of Party just when he said that enquiry is needed in corruption case against Jaitly ( Delhi Cricket Association matter) but not Raj Kumar Saini ..... see the difference....

The entire Jat community is quite disappointed with the way BJP high command has turned blind eye on Anti-Jat politics of some of its state leaders and MPs including Rajkumar Saini. There is no doubt that we Jats will never forgive them for such a destructive politics targeting Jat community. They will have to pay price for it for sure in next election.

This man is an attention seeker. His political career relies upon reaction from Jat community. Jats must refrain from reacting to this sociopath. More reaction to him means more stronger he is. It is in the community interest to avoid him until he is devoid. There are so many such 'sanis' in the state who could sell their own parents for sake of power. If we react to one dog, other dogs will also emerge and therefore more stronger will be such ugly Hyenas.

Expecting any action by BJP against such hyenas will be self-deceiving, or like living in a fool's paradise.

Watched on Haryana News today that Raj Kr Sani is touring Hisar today holding a rally. Almost everyday we get to read in the newspaper and television that he is covering the length and breadth of the state spewing venom against us.

My humble request to fellow members is to organise ourself into self help groups at the earliest in case he starts any violence against the community. I am not advising violence against any person, group or community. All I am saying is that let us not be caught off guard as sitting ducks while they are preparing for an all out war against us on a daily basis. I doubt the state administration will do much in case Sani dares to attack us as the state administration is already turning a blind eye. We are a law abiding and tolerant community which has not harboured any ill will or intolerance towards anyone and will continue doing so.

We need to put all the legal and constitutional provisions on the table to thwart any untoward situation forced on us by this person.

P.S. May I also request the administrator, if possible, to have a some forum where only members can log into and access the pages, because what we discuss for our community's interest should remain only for the eyes of the community and not outsiders including such anti Jat persons.

Very well summed up. The contemporary situation explained in a very rational and 'as it is' manner.

The moot question is 'how much is too much?'

It has become a norm that I do not get to hear any kind word for the Jats from any quarter - the society in general, the media, the govt. academicians, intellectual lobby or for that matter, even the judiciary.

What sin have we done that we are projected in such poor light by one and all? We are as good or bad as any other community. We are a fiercely patriotic people who have more than proven their loyalty to the nation and Hindu faith for a thousand years or more. And yet, everytime, we are made to stand in the witness box as some petty criminal asked to explain for the offence that we have not committed. A case in point is the false, frivolous and mischievous media report on Murthal of which the Hon'ble High Court suo moto took cognizance and compelled investigation by the investigating authorities. Despite there being no credible evidence or witnesses to even prima facie suggest the actual happening of such a dastardly act, the Judiciary did not allow the investigating authorities to close the investigation or the case.

On the other hand, there are anti Jat politicians spewing venom against a particular community day in and day out from open public forums, not only the media and the govt. but also the same judiciary is painfully and deafeningly silent. Why no suo moto cognizance in this case? Why no National Security Act cases against such politicians for attempts to rupture the age old social fabric of the society? All we had was cases under NSA against innocent young Jat boys who were in the first place actual victims of the hoodlums (goondas) of the anti Jat politicians. However, the media was so sure about Jat culpability that it painted the entire violence as instigated and executed by the Jats.

The reasons why we have grown so weak?? No one to speak for us, either within or outside the community. As rightfully said by Ayush bhai, we do have leaders, but they all appear to be the bonsai versions of the tall Jat leaders of yesteryears who had mass following across all sections of society. We have had many Jat CMs, but there was nothing permanent done for the community's interest. A few increments in the MSP here and there? That's it. Or land for a few Jat Bhawans here and there? Akhilesh Yadav filled all govt. posts from top to bottom in UP with Yadavs. But exactly the opposite happened in Haryana under the previous Congress govt. as far as Jats are concerned. Jats were sidelined and YET THE IMPRESSION THAT WENT TO THE NON-JATS WAS THAT THIS GOVT. WORKS ONLY FOR JATS BE IT IN TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT OR SOCIAL/GOVT. BENEFITS. Any Jat would stand witness that no special treatment was meted out to Jats under the Jat CM, but this wrong impression was sent by the previous Congress govt. which created a feeling of alienation and suspicion against Jats among the non-Jats. The only Jats that benefited from the previous congress govt. were either those who were close to the inner circle of politicians or who had deep pockets with loads of money. The rest of the Jats were taken for a ride.

It is about time, that the entire community organises itself because at present we are a very scattered lot in terms of geography, political leaning, thinking as to way ahead, etc. We need to organize into an organization at the village/block/dist and state level. We need to create an organizational structure. Our age old organisations which united us and worked as a cementing glue for the community have been discredited and demonized by the media and the courts to such an extent that even the younger generation of Jats no longer believes in such an age old and socially wonderful organization.

We need to do a lot of brainstorming as to what needs to be the way forward. Either to continue as Hindus where we have been forced to adhere to the rotten caste based system or we adopt a more enlightened faith as Buddhism or create our own faith. Time is surely running out because they are all ganging up against us day in and day out and the administration is turning a blind eye. Also, let us not be fooled that there are Jat patronizers in other political parties. They are all the same when it comes to Jats and their hatred for Jats. Self help is the best help at the moment and only that will deliver us to a higher ground from where we stand today. A community which is highly knowledgeable, educated, managing its own religious and other affairs, respected by one and all for its social, political, cultural, scientific etc. advancements. That will only come through unity, perseverance, dedication and discipline. A very painful discipline, but would make our future generations highly proud of us.

Brother, Neither I am blind supporter nor blind opposer of any political party. I won't hesitate in calling a spade a spade whenever I'll find something against our community. I supported BJP when they stood by Jats during Muzaffarnagar riots and similarly, I won't stop myself to criticize them for being ignorant on one state leader who is driving anti-Jat movement in Haryana.
