Fund raising for victims ideas needed

    Dosto,
Time to do something good for our community. People are already collecting funds for our brothers in India, it it is time to come up with some easy and transparent way to collect funds outside India. We have thousands of jats around the world and they would not mind contributing to this cause, as long as we can provide a transparent and clean way to contribute. I propose this and I expect all of you to suggest improvements and help implementing this

    1. Put together a team of volunteers to verify and make a list of jat victims, their financial conditions, family situations etc and collect the information like bank account etc, where funds can be delivered.
    2. Online payment methods, where people like us who are outside can pay via paypal or credit cards. Any suggestions? We need an organization which can collect online funds and issue checks for victims. Can jatland’s paypal account be used to collect funds for this cause? If yes, can jatland issue checks directly to the victim’s family ?
    3. A team of volunteers who can deliver these checks to the victim families.
    4. A team of volunteers, who can help in spreading the word and instructions for online payments.
    5. A team of volunteers who can verify the payments are reaching the family or not and closing the gap. Funds received, delivered can be updated here online.

In the above method funds are collected by one organization and volunteers keep track of the funds received and delivered to the victims. So, the process is transparent. If anybody has ideas to improve upon this, please suggest and let us make it happen.
There are thousands of jats in USA alone and more in other parts of world, so we can raise a big amount for the needy family, as long as we can come up with a transparent system.
Can jatland admin team answer item #2 ?

    Thank you all

There is already a fb group: Funds for the fallen brothers. The number mentioned on the group is : +91 9991968008. Maybe, US people can also align with this group & workout the mechanics. If someone will make the collection from own village, pls go ahead & do the needful. Dhanyawad.
