    India heading for trouble

A train stopped on a bridge crossing Yamuna, heading toward's Delhi. Yamuna was all filled with crap water from all over the places. 25 feet above the water, river smelled like a mix of chemicals and filth. The stench was unbearable. Just wondering what it is doing to the water under the ground.

There seems to be an immediate need to address the problem and present day political structures and government structures do not seem to have any solution.

As the major portion of Indian economy has connection with agriculture, forecasts and predictions made by weather(Meteorological) departments of India never seem to show factual rainfall in the country. Rainfall has dramatically decreased over last decades, any person who was alive 70 decades ago can tell or data at the time of the start of industrial revolution can tell the stated fact.

As rains disappear+rivers+ground water heavily contaminated, this may prove very negative.

Air pollution seeping down into ground water through indiscriminate bore wells and indiscriminate plundering of natural resources creates a devastating long term effect on water resources.

Interestingly there were lot of vegetables being grown right besides river Yamuna,,,, for the consumption of Delhi population. I wonder, how much these vegetables were polluted?

Rivers like Yamuna and Ganga do not just flow in Delhi itself, they extend all the way to Bihar and Bengal

India's heavy reliance on defense sector, corrupt politics is taking the educated people and the country towards a Syria like state

Though none can deny some degree of ills in our polity yet it has not such wider prevalence to fear your far fetched imagination as reflected in the post.
History is best when created, better when re-constructed and worst when invented.

A strong defense and adequate internal law and order enforcement are the primary needs of any independent Nation. Because these measures could save any nation to become a Syria like state.

Anybody may fail to validate the reliability of the sources behind your conclusive statements. Do you really have some data to support your wildest theories or its just a favorite pastime ?

"A strong defense and adequate internal law and order enforcement are the primary needs of any independent Nation":

India can not become a Police state neither can it become a Military state/Military dictatorship.
Can people from such background rule country/state, it might create more chaos? In the past India has seen its results in different states like those in northeast and northern states. Neither can India become religious state or ruled by religious thought.
Social changes have its problems, so Syria like state might happen. Corruption is also a big issue.

As far as i am able to understand India thrives on oil from other countries, which is a cause of concern as this oil starts moving to other countries?

Current political thought process and previous political thought processes might be talking India to future similar to middle east where neither the working officials would feel safe nor citizens.

Rains are haphazard and deserts are getting flooded. This abrupt rain patterns can cause problems in mountain regions.

One of the major problem is acceptance of socioreligiouspolitical thought process that common/everyday people adhere too.

This socioreligiousthought process is amplified by the political thought process.

This is slowly bringing the country into present day state.
