Dear Friends,
This is to share my efforts to educate Hindi speaking students by preparing videos in my spare time and uploading them on my channel on youtube. If, for any reason, you believe that this is intended to enhance the TRP etc, please go to another thread.
2. Encouraged by the positive response received from students and well wishers on my efforts to make learning of English easier for the Hindi speaking students I enter a new area of study that is the Indian Constitution. The first video uploaded last Friday on youtube is on Article 368 of the Constitution, and it deals with powers of the Parliament to amend the Constitution and the procedure thereof.
3. Purpose of sharing this information with you is two fold. First, a considerable number of visitors to the jatland are either students and/or aspirants of jobs in public sector which is always by selection through competitive examinations. General Studies/Knowledge is very often one of the subjects in such examinations, and invariably there are a couple of questions to test the knowledge of candidates about the Constitution of India. For students who never studied Political Science at college level, specially for students of physical sciences, acquiring basic knowledge of constitution becomes an arduous task, and they skip such questions. I venture to make things easier for them. Secondly, like all others jatlanders should equip themselves with the basic knowledege of the law of our motherland. There is no substitute for correct knowledge.
4. I know many of the jatlanders are very well-versed scholars of the Constitution. If you are one of them and still reading this post, kindly see the video from the angle of a critic and do let me know of any factual error that I may have committed.
