Will the exam pattern of the NEET be changed in 2019?
Earlier it was decided that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be conducted twice a year in online mode from 2019. Then the ministry raised concerned that conducting NEET twice a year may put additional pressure on students on the other hand students from the rural areas may be impacted if they conduct only a computer-based exam. So, the government rolled back the decision. The exam will now be held once in a year and in the pen-and-paper mode and not online.
- NTA will set up 3,000 practice centres for NEET UG examination all over the country. Which will function on Saturdays and Sundays & candidates will get around an hour to practice.
- NTA will start their free coaching centres for NEET aspirants. It may start functioning from May 2019.
