Hi,

If you are preparing for IIT Jam Mathematics, then you should focus on easy topics first. As my brother is preparing for same exam, he started from NCERT Books to clear his basis concept. I would like to say first make your base strong, use logical reasoning books and try to solve puzzle if you want clear this exam in first attempt.

Make sure that in first 30 days you go through NCERT Books, Reasoning books, Shakuntala Devi specially for puzzle, and then switch to main syllabus. Practice Mocks test, etc. While solving maths question do eat chocolates.

No doubt NCERTs are always best!

Do remember, very few can develop concept clarity within school sessions and many require outside coaching. So, better choose a personal tutor who are majorly into govt. Jobs, else find a coaching institution for Mathematics subject matter.
