Grand Divisions of Jats
Hi All,
Can anyone share with me the differences or similarities between Dhe, Hele, Deswali, Bagri, and Pacchadai Jat divisions?
Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I was hoping to get the ball rolling…
Let’s start with Pacchada – they are “western” Jats and they migrated a couple centuries ago to the modern Haryana and Delhi area – all being mostly Muslims and speaking Pacchadi, a dialect close to the modern Panjabi.
Anyone with to discuss Deswali? Thanks,

Hi Ramandeep,
Yes that is correct, Bagris are immigrants from Bagardesh – basically the Bikaner region.
Best Wishes,
