Kundarwal (कुण्डरवाल) Kunderwal (कुण्डेरवाल), Kundal (कुण्डल[1] Gotra Jats live in Jaipur, Tonk district in Rajasthan. कुण्डरवाल / कुण्डेरवाल गोत्र राजस्थान के जयपुर और टोंक जिले की जाट गोत्र है, जो केवल इन्ही दो जिलो में निवास करते है, इनका कुंतल गोत्र से कोई रिश्ता नहीं है ।

Origin

There two views on the origin of the name Either they get this gotra name after a place called Kunder[2] or they might have originated from Kandara (कण्डरा) /Kundarika (कुण्डारिक) of Mahabharata period.

History

In Mahabharata

Shalya Parva, Mahabharata/Book IX Chapter 45 mentions names of mothers who joined the Ceremony for investing Kartikeya with the status of generalissimo. Kundarika was one of them mentioned in shloka 15. [3]
