Angar is a small hilly village in Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand.

Some of the nearby villages are Jadhang, Nelang，Sang and Pulam Sumda. These all lie in the valley of the Jadh Ganga. The valley of the Jadh Ganga is claimed by China and controlled by India.
