Bagas (बागास) is a village in Fatehpur tehsil of Sikar district in Rajasthan. Author visited village on 14.11.2021 and collected information from Ramdeo Singh Dhatarwal.
Location
It is situated north of Dhandhan village at the border of Churu district. It comes under Bagas Panchayath. It belongs to Jaipur Division . It is located 73 KM towards North from District head quarters Sikar, 17 KM from Fatehpur. 189 KM from State capital Jaipur. Bagas Pin code is 332302 and postal head office is Dhandhan . Dewas ( 9 KM ) , Hudera ( 12 KM ) , Dhandan ( 13 KM ) , Kayamsar ( 14 KM ) are the nearby Villages to Bagas. [1]

History
बागास इसरान जाटों का बसाया हुआ है। गाँव में उनकी एक छतरी बनी हुई है। यह गाँव ढांढण से पहले बसाया गया था।
Population
As per Census-2011 statistics, Bagas village has the total population of 1007 (of which 481 are males while 526 are females).[2]
Monuments
गाँव जान्दवा से बागास (फतेहपुर) के पास "पाण्डलवाई जोहड़ी" है जहाँ लड़ाई में तीन जाट योद्धाओं ने अपना बलिदान दिया। यहाँ आज भी चबूतरे बने हैं। आगे शोध की आवश्यकता है। [3]
रामदेव सिंह धेतरवाल (मो.9929528018) ने बताया कि भांडलवाली जोड़ी (Bhandal Wali Jodi) में एक ऐतिहासिक स्थान है। यहाँ पर तीन चबूतरे बने हुये हैं। गाँव जांदवा का जोगा खीचड़ जाट बहुत बहादुर था। इस स्थान पर ठाकुरों ने जोगा को गोली मार कर हत्या कर दी थी। उसके साथ एक अन्य व्यक्ति और उसका कुत्ता भी मारा गया था। इनकी याद में तीन चबूतरे बनाये गए हैं।
