Bhainswal (भैंसवाल) is a Jat Village of primarily Kadiyan,and Panwar Gotra.

Location

Bhainswal is 6 KM North of Shamli town in Prabudh Nagar District in Uttar Pradesh.

It is the head village of Battisa Khap. This khap 32 villages hence known as Battisa headed by Ch.Surajmal Singh [1]

History

Dr Girish Chandra Dwivedi [2] has mentioned in his book The Jats - Their Role in the Mughal Empire about historical records maintained by Khaps. A Sarva Khap Panchayat was held here in samvat 1727, 1764.

Consumption

Bhainswal is the one of the prosperous and rich village of the Prabudh Nagar (Muzaffarnagar) District. This village has 52,000" Biggha land which is irrigated by Eastern Yamuna canal. Shamli Sugar Mills crushes Sugar cane grown in the village farms.

Population of Bhainswala according to Census 2001 is 7170, Where male population is 3833, While female population is 3337[3]
