The former director of the Advanced Technology in the Emerging Technology Group of ConocoPhillips Inc. in Ponca City, Okla., Bharat Chahar currently serves as the SWeNT company's manager, Composite Graphite in Houston. He has more than 20 years of industrial R&D experience with Conoco and ConocoPhillips, including technical support, process development and product development. For the past five years, Chahar has played a leadership role in the development of carbon products based on ConocoPhillips carbon upgrading core competency. He holds a doctoral degree in chemical engineering.
