Bisfi (बिस्फी) is a town and tahsil in the Madhubani district of Bihar, India. It is the birthplace of Vidyapati, a Maithili poet.

बिसपी
बिसपी (AS, p.632) जिला मधुबनी, बिहार में बागमती नदी के तट पर बसा हुआ प्राचीन ग्राम जो मैथिल कोकिल विद्यापति का जन्म स्थान है. इनका जन्म 14वीं शती के मध्य में हुआ था.[2]
विश्मीका
विश्मीका (AS, p.864) : दरभंगा ज़िला, बिहार का ऐतिहासिक ग्राम है। मधुबनी के निकट स्थित यह ग्राम मैथिल कोकिल विद्यापति के निवास स्थान के रूप में विख्यात है। कहा जाता है कि 1400 ई. के लगभग महाराज शिवसिंह ने यह ग्राम विद्यापति को दान में दे दिया था. [3]
