CH. Sarup Singh (Sindhu) was born on 6th October, 1919 son of Sukh Lal from a landlord family of village Khanda Kheri in Tahsil Hansi of district Hisar in Haryana.
Education
He studied at Ramjas College, Delhi and did his graduation in Law from University of Law College, Lahore.
Marriage
He was married to Kamla Devi. She is from the famous Lamba-landlords family of village Daulatpur Hisar of Hisar district.
Political Career
He was elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly and Deputy Speaker of Legislative Assembly in Joint Punjab 1954-1962. After the formation of Haryana as a separate State of India, he was elected as member of Legislative Assembly and Served as Minister of Excise and Taxation, Minister of Development and Cooperation. He was again elected to the Legislative Assembly and was also elected as Speaker of Haryana Vidhan Sabha.

(HVPN), married to Vandana from Beniwals family of Sirsa district and Sukhvir Singh Sindhu, Advocate married to Shashi from Maliks family of Panipat district and grand-children.
