Ch. Badlu Ram Hooda

Ch. Badlu Ram Hooda Son of Chaudhary Udmi Ram Hooda was born at village Sanghi in district Rohtak. He belonged to a rich Jat agricultural family. He was educated and joined the national movement for freedom. He joined Civil Disobedience movement and underwent imprisonment for 7 months when he was merely 20 years old.

In 1941, he was again jailed for 18 months and fined Rs.500/-.

He was elected twice to Punjab Legislative Assembly in 1946 and 1952 from Meham.

He passed away on 24rh January, 1986.
