Charna (चरना) is a historical place in district Hamirpur Uttar Pradesh.

It is known for the ruins of Chandelas of Bundelkhand who ruler here in 8-9th century.
चरना
विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[1] ने लेख किया है ...चरना (AS, p.328) हमीरपुर ज़िला, उत्तर प्रदेश का एक ऐतिहासिक स्थान है। पुरातत्त्व दृष्टि से यह स्थान महत्त्वपूर्ण है। इस स्थान पर बुंदेलखंड के चन्देल नरेशों के जमाने की इमारतों के अनेक अवशेष स्थित हैं। चन्देंलों का शासन इस इलाके में 8वीं-9वीं शती ई. में था।
