Devarakonda (देवरकोंडा) is a town in the Nalgonda district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is located about 60 kms from the district headquarters Nalgonda, 104 kms from the state capital Hyderabad.

History
Devarakonda's history dates back to 13th and 14th centuries. It was ruled by the Recherla Nayakas, who succeeded the Musunuri Nayakas.

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[1] ने लेख किया है ...देवरकोंडा (AS, p.449) एक ऐतिहासिक स्थान है, जो नलगोंडा ज़िला, तेलंगाना में स्थित है। यह स्थान बहमनी काल में वेल्मा राजा लिंग के अधिकार में था। राजा लिंग ने बहमनी सुल्तानों से वीरतापूर्वक कई लड़ाइयाँ लड़ी थीं और उनकी अनेक सेनाओं को नष्ट किया था। देवरकोंडा का ऐतिहासिक क़िला सात पहाड़ियों से घिरा हुआ है।
