Education
He graduated in mining engineering from MBM Engineering College, The University of Jodhpur, (Rajasthan), India in the year 1984 with Honours.
Career
Started mining career with Hindustan Copper Limited (A Govt. of India Mining Company) as mining Engineer, holds First class Mine Manager’s certificate of Competency (Metal-Restricted) from DGMS, Dhanbad, India(1987) and PG Diploma in Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi (1996). Worked with Govt ( Hindustan Copper, HML & Engineers India Ltd) and MNCs ( M/s Vedanta, JSPL & Adani Groups) for more than 32 yrs, and visited/ worked in Peru, Iran, South Africa, Mozambique, Indonesia & Australia in relation to mining work/ projects. Was Mining Advisor to Odisha Mining Corporation, Govt of Odisha PSU. Currently, working as Vice President / Head-Mining with an Indian Company in Democratic Republic of Congo.
