Jasalladevi (जासल्लदेवी) (L.8) is mentioned in Sahaspur Statue Inscription of Yashoraja of Kalachuri year 934 (=1182 AD).[5] Sahaspur (सहसपुर) is an ancient historical village in Kawardha tahsil of Kawardha district in Chhattisgarh. Jassal/Jassar is Jat Gotra found in Punjab in Ludhiana and Patiala districts. [6] It is a Nagavanshi Jat clan.
