Kundarwal (कुण्डरवाल)[1] Kunderwal (कुण्डेरवाल)[2] , Kundal (कुण्डल)[3] Kundewal (कुण्डेवाल) [4] Gotra Jats live in Jaipur, Tonk district in Rajasthan.

They are also found in Ujjain Indoredistrict of Madhya Pradesh

Origin

There are two views on the origin of the name Either they get this gotra name after a place called Kunder/Kundar[5] or they might have originated from Kandara (कण्डरा) /Kundarika (कुण्डारिक) of Mahabharata period mentioned in Mahabharata (IX.45.15).

History

Their ancient fort was in Garh Kundar. There need to further research.
