Lahri Singh Malik
Chaudhary Lahri Singh (Malik) (B: 3 March 1901, d: 3 Oct. 1981) was former MP (3rd Lok Sabha 1962-67) from Rohtak constituency. Though a renowned politician and an associate of Sir Chhotu Ram, by profession he was an advocate in pre-Independence era. He was also a member of Punjab Vidhan Sabha from 1946-61. He was also a Minister in Punjab Government from 1946-1955.

Shrimati Khajani and Shrimati Nano; 5 S. and 4 D.; Lawyer; Active Congress Worker from 1937 to 1961; Member, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, 1946—61; Minister in Punjab from 1946 to 1955 (excepting the period of Governor's rule in 1951-52).
Social activities: Active supporter of educational institutions in Punjab and particularly in his District. Took keen interest in uplift of Harijans and backward classes in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha and outside.
Special interest: Rural uplift.
