Sandhya Jain[2] writes about Lohajangha (लॊहजङ्घ) - Bondsmen at Yudhisthira's court (II.46.21); hailed from Logar valley, south of Kabul. Their position was unclear in Mahabharata War.

Sabha Parva, Mahabharata/Book II Chapter 24 mentions countries subjugated by Arjuna that lay to the North. Loha (लॊह) is mentioned in Mahabharata (II.24.24).[3]...the son of Indra also subjugated the allied tribes of the Lohas, the eastern Kambojas, and northern Rishikas.


Sabha Parva, Mahabharata/Book II Chapter 46 describes game at dice and kings who were present in that assembly. Lohajangha (लॊहजङ्घा) is listed in verse (II.46.21).[4].... The Nipas, the Chitrakas, the Kukkuras, the Karaskaras, and the Lohajanghas are living in the palace of Yudhishthira like bondsmen.


Shalya Parva, Mahabharata/Book IX Chapter 45 gives ist of the mothers who became the companions when Skanda was installed. Lohamekhala (लॊहमेखला) is listed in verses (IX.45.18)[5],and (IX.45.21)[6].


Bhisma Parva, Mahabharata/Book VI Chapter 10 describes geography and provinces of Bharatavarsha. Lohatarini (लॊहतारिणी) River is entioned in verse (VI.10.17).[7]


Shalya Parva, Mahabharata/Book IX Chapter 44 describes the Kings and clans who joined the ceremony for investing Kartikeya with the status of generalissimo.
