Mahender Singh Malik IPS Retired as IG Haryana police. He belongs to Bhainswal Kalan village in Sonipat District. He joined police as a sub inspector after he was not selected for constable. He got successive promotions to DSP then selected for IPS and retired as IG. His son is an Army officer
