The village is situated 8 kms in North from Bhiwani city.

- Wing Commander Ramesh Kumar Thaken is first commisoned Officer (1995) of village Mandhana.He is highly qualified and well read person. He is alumnus of AFTC Bangalore, Harvard (USA), IIM and MDI Gurgaon. He is now actively involved in the field of education and environment protection.
- Jagmahender Thakan of this village is recipient of 3 gold medals in horse-riding in Ranchi National Games, (2011).
