History

Mangaliawas is the village where the historical pair of "Kalpavriksh", said to be planted by yaksha and yakshini en-route their journey to Pushkar sarover at the time of yagya performed by Lord Brahma ji. Now only one tree survives, the other one fell down some years back due to fungus developed on the trunk (reason: sheer negligence of the devotees who wrapped threads around the trunk and offering coconuts and fruits, etc. in the hollow trunk).
