Moosanagar (मूसानगर) is a town in Ghatampur tahsil of Kanpur Dehat in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Pin 209208. This place is situated on bank of river Yamuna. It is located 20 km west of Ghatampur.

History
This place is also famous as Mukta Nagar. There are some very famous temples like Shree Mukta Devi and Shree Bala Ji Dham. People throughout the country visit these temples, being one of the famous temples.

मूसानगर (AS, p.755): कानपुर, उ.प्र. में स्थित है. 1954 की खुदाई में इस स्थान से शुंगकाल से मध्यकाल तक की कलाकृतियों के अनेक सुंदर अवशेष प्राप्त हुए हैं. मराठों के समय में बना हुआ मुक्ता देवी मंदिर भी इस स्थान पर यमुना के तट पर अवस्थित है. [1]
