N. S. Gill

N. S. Gill is a Latinist and a historian. She writes about ancient history and the classics. She has also worked as a teacher of the Latin language.

Education and works

She has done her bachelors in Latin, and masters in Linguistics, from the University of Minnesota.

Some of her initial works includes writing on the misdating of an Oxyrhynchus papyrus and on Ovid (as part of her graduate level coursework on classics at the university).

She has also spoken on the subject of the Roman calendar on National Geographic.

She has written articles and oped pieces for magazines, newsletters, and newspapers.
