Parada River (पारदा नदी) finds mention in Nasik Inscription. Parada tribe probably lived on the banks of Parada river. [1]

Par River

Par River is a river in Gujarat in western India with its source near Paykhad village in Maharashtra. Its drainage basin has a maximum length of 51 km. The total catchment area of the basin is 907 square kilometres. It flows from Valsad district and into the Arabian Sea. There is a small village, Atul, which it passes near. The British constructed a bridge on this river while they ruled India.

पारदा नदी

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[2] ने लेख किया है ...पारदा नदी (AS, p.549): नासिक से प्राप्त एक अभिलेख में पारदा नदी का उल्लेख मिलता है। वायु पुराण 44 तथा हरिवंशपुराण 1,14 में जिस पारद जाति का उल्लेख है वह शायद इसी नदी के तटवर्ती प्रदेश की निवासी थे।
