Paramjit Samota
. Paramjit Samota is a Indian boxer who won the Bronze medal in Asian Boxing Championship held in Zhuhai (China). He belongs to the village Dinod , Bhiwani , Haryana. He is the product of Bhiwani Boxing Club.

Life before entery in to boxing
Samota’s childhood was spent in Dinod, Haryana, a nondescript farming village 10 kms away from the boxing hub Bhiwani.
Samota wasn’t too keen on studies. When he wasn’t getting into fights with fellow idlers, he would be riding buffaloes, or sing the latest Haryanvi songs at the village chaupal. Herding the family livestock was tiring but Samota was up to it. When whistles and cajoling wouldn’t work, he often found himself physically pushing the animals in the direction he wanted. Samota says it was this tough upbringing that gave him his trademark ox-like strength.
Besides getting outraged by his son’s out-of-tune singing, Samota senior was worried that his son’s brute force and fragile fuse might land him in serious trouble. That was when Samota was packed off to Bhiwani by the family elders with the hope that sports would discipline him. The wayward youngster got hooked to boxing and his misplaced aggression was channelised now. These days when Samota returns to Dinod, village elders ask their sons to follow in the footsteps of the boy who was once seen as a bad influence.

सामौता और अनीता का सम्मान आज
भास्कर न्यूज & भिवानी:[1] कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स के गोल्डन ब्वाय परमजीत सामौता और कुश्ती की गोल्ड मेडल विजेता अनीता श्योराण के स्वागत के लिए खेल प्रेमियों ने तैयारियां कर ली हैं। दोनों पदक विजेता शनिवार को भिवानी पहुंचेंगे। शुक्रवार से ही दोनों पदक विजेताओं के सम्मान की तैयारियां आरंभ कर दी है। वहीं दोनों पदक विजेताओं के पैतृक गांव ढाणी माहू और दिनोद में शनिवार को होने वाले जश्न को लेकर खेलप्रेमियों ने मुख्य राहों को सजाना और सामूहिक स्थान पर होने वाले कार्यक्रम को अंतिम रूप देना शुरू कर दिया।
गांव दिनोद निवासी परमजीत सामौता शनिवार को दोपहर बाद भिवानी पहुंचेंगे। रोहतक गेट भगवती धर्मशाला से बॉक्सर का स्वागत जुलूस आरंभ किया जाएगा। कोच विष्णु भगवान के मुताबिक विजेता बॉक्सर सामौता का स्वागत जुलूस शनिवार दोपहर बाद रोहतक गेट महम गेट, पुराना बस अड्डा होता हुआ भीम स्टेडियम पहुंचेगा। वहां पर बॉक्सर परमजीत सामौता को सम्मानित किया जाएगा। उसके बाद बॉक्सर का स्वागत जुलूस भिवानी से गांव दिनोद पहुंचेगा। वहां पर भी बॉक्सर को सम्मानित करने की योजना है। दूसरी तरफ शनिवार को ही कुश्ती में गोल्ड मेडल विजेता ढाणी माहू निवासी अनीता श्योराण सुबह भिवानी पहुंचेगी। यहां पर कुश्ती में सोना जीतने वाली अनीता श्योराण को सम्मानित किया जाएगा। ग्रामीण सुशील वर्मा के मुताबिक शनिवार सुबह उसके बाद अनीता को गांव ढाणी लाया जाएगा। ग्रामीणों ने अनीता के सम्मान की तैयारी कर रखी है। ग्रामीणों की तरफ से गांव के स्कूल में सम्मान समारोह किया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि अभी तय किस समय भिवानी पहुंचेगी, लेकिन यह तय है कि सुबह ही अनीता भिवानी पहुंचेगी और उसके बाद गांव ढाणी माहू पहुंचेगी।
परिजनों के मुताबिक सबसे पहले बॉक्सर परमजीत सामौता गांव दिनोद पहुंचकर बाबा धूणीवाले मंदिर में मत्था टेकेगा। पूर्जा अर्चना के बाद ग्रामीण स्कूल ग्राउंड में बॉक्सर को सम्मानित करेंगे। परमजीत के पिता प्रदीप सिंह ने बताया कि उन्होंने अपने आवास पर भी बाहर से आने वाले हर व्यक्ति का मुंह मीठ कराया जाएगा। इसके लिए आज से ही तैयारी आरंभ कर दी है।
