The Punia Jats of Thathawata came from village Rajpur in Laxmangarh tehsil in Sikar district. From Rajpur they first came and settled at Badusar village in Laxmangarh tehsil in Sikar district and then came to Shekhisar in Sikar district. Finally Hema Puna came to Thathawata in samvat 1960 (1903 AD). See family tree of Hema Punia in Thathawata. In Rajpur village there is a temple of Kalka Mata, who is kuladevi of Punias of Thathawata village.
