Shahid Rameshwar Lal from Bajrajpur village of Padampur tahsil in Sriganganagar - Assistant Sub-Inspector 74th CRPF Battalion, became Martyr on Wednesday 26.4.2017 in Sukma, Chhattisgarh naxal attack.[1]
Two martyrs cremated with full state honours

A large number of people bid a tearful adieu on Wednesday 26.4.2017 to the two martyrs of the CRPF who were killed in Sukhma naxal attack. While their mortal remains reached their native villages at Govardhanpura in Sikar and Bajrajpur village of Sriganganagar respectively, a large number of people gathered to say good bye to their heroes. Villagers accused the Narendra Modi led BJP government at the centre failing badly in controlling Naxalism and urged them to take stringent action against Thousands gathered at the Govardhanpura village in Sikar while the last rites of the martyr Banna Ram were performed. Be it was his 12-year-old son Ajay or other family members including wife Sumitra Devi everyone had tears in their eyes. Even the officers of the administration present at the occasion had moist eyes when Ajay lit the funeral pyre of his father.
"I am proud of my husband. However, one thing I would like to say is that government should ensure that no married woman whose husband is serving in army and para military forces should become a widow in such incidents. Government should chalk out and execute some result oriented strategy against Naxalites," said Sumitra Devi while talking to mediapersons.
She recalled that promise of her husband to visit the family on May, 5. "He had returned after leaves on April, 22 and had promised to return on May, 5," she said. He was posted in Chattisgarh since 2016.
Similar scenes were witnessed at Balrajpur village of Sriganganagar when the mortal remains of Rameshwar Lal were consigned to flames.
राजस्थान के शहीद रामेश्वर लाल और बन्ना राम का बुधवार को होगा अंतिम संस्कार
छत्तीसगढ़ के सुकमा में नक्सलियों से मुठभेड़ में शहीद हुए राजस्थान के दोनों जवानों का पूर्ण राजकीय सम्मान के साथ बुधवार को उनके पैतृक गांवों में दाह संस्कार होगा. नक्सलियों से मुठभेड़ में शहीद हुए श्रीगंगानगर और सीकर जिले के केन्द्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल के दोनों जवानों के शव प्रदेश में पहुंच चुके हैं और बुधवार सुबह अंतिम संस्कार किया जाएगा.
सैनिक कल्याण विभाग के निदेशक ने यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि 74वीं सीआरपीएफ बटालियन में कार्यरत श्रीगंगानगर जिले के एएसआई रामेश्वर लाल का दाह संस्कार उनके पैतृक गांव बलराजपुरा (पदमपुरा) में और सीकर जिले के हैड कांस्टेबल बन्ना राम का पूर्ण राजकीय सम्मान के साथ उनके पैतृक निवास नीम का थाना तहसील के गोरधनपुरा गांव में किया जाएगा.[2]
सुकमा में सोमवार दोपहर नक्सलियों से हुई मुठभेड़ में केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (सीआरपीएफ) के 26 जवान शहीद हो गए। 11 जवान घायल हैं और सात लापता। शहीद जवानों में राजस्थान के बन्नाराम (हैड कॉन्स्टेबल) और श्रीगंगानगर जिले के रामेश्वर लाल (सहायक उपनिरीक्षक) भी हैं। मुठभेड़ में छह नक्सली मारे गए। हमले के समय जवान खाने की तैयारी में थे। एक दल सर्च अभियान को निकला। घात लगाए 300 नक्सलियों ने दल पर फायरिंग की। उधर, दंतेवाड़ा में भी सुरक्षा बलों ने आईईडी नाकाम किया। 6 अप्रेल, 2010 में दंतेवाड़ा के बाद नक्सलियों का सबसे बड़ा हमला है।
