Ramvir Singh Baswan

Ramvir Singh Baswan (b.27.12.1932 - d.25.3.2016) from Gwalior was social worker who was an instrument in the foundation of Jat Samaj Kalyan Parishad Gwalior. He was the founder President of this social Organization. He was associated with All India Jat Mahasabha.

He was born at village Pipli, tah:Atrauli, district Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh in the family of father Bagha Ram and mother Chameli Devi. He completed his education from Alahabad University and joined Service as Audit Officer in the office of M.P. Auditor General Gwalior. He struggled for the welfare of farmers and Jat Community through out his life.

Jat Samaj Kalyan Parishad Gwalior

Jat Samaj Kalyan Parishad Gwalior is an Organization of Jats in Gwalior region in Madhya Pradesh, India. It was started in 1981 and registered in 1988. Its objective is to awaken Jats about their rights and educate them by spreading the cultural, historical and geographical facts about Jats amongst its members. It works in association with All India Jat Mahasabha, Delhi. It is working on achieving social objectives of eliminating social evils like dowry, mrityubhoj etc through organizing camps.

Jat Samaj Kalyan Parishad Gwalior organizes Kisam Mela every year on the occasion of Ramnavami at Gwalior Fort. This occasion helps to bring all elite people of the society together and plan its welfare. A Jat Dharmshala has been built in Gwalior. A statue of Maharaja Bhim Singh Rana has been intalled in Gwalior.

Social work

He took lot of pains to unearth Jat history in the Gwalior region. Three important books on Jat History were published by Jat Samaj Kalyan Parishad Gwalior under his guidance, which are

Gwalior Mela-2016

Jat Samaj Kalyan Parishad paid rich tribute to the founder and President late Ch Ramvir Singh on the occasion of 260 death anniversary and a Kisan Mela organised at Gwalior Fort on 15.04.2016.

The function was presided over by Ch Ajay Singh (President, Akhil Bhartiya Sarv Jat Mahasabha). Cabinet Minister Mr.Narendra Singh Tomer, Mr.Raghu Thakur President Loktantrik Samajwadi Party,Ch.Kamal Singh Jat Mahasabha Jammu and Ch.Ram Singh Kulhari Jat Samaj Karnataka (Bangalore) were present on the occasion. The function witnessed huge crowd from all over the India. All member of Jat Samaj Kalyan Parishad and other eminent people remembered the contribution of Ch Ramvir Singh towards the Parishad and Jat community. They urged people to follow his footstep. ^[1]

चौधरी रामवीरसिंह का जीवन परिचय

जन्म: चौधरी रामवीरसिंह का जन्म ब्रज क्षेत्र के अलीगढ़ जिले की तहसील अतरौली के ग्राम पीपरी में 27 दिसंबर 1932 को पिता बाघा राम एवं माता चमेली देवी के घर हुया।

शिक्षा: आपने इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय से शिक्षा प्राप्त की और केंद्रीय सेवा में मध्य प्रदेश महालेखाकार कार्यालय ग्वालियर में आडिट विभाग में अधिकारी के रूप में सेवारत रहे। तभी आपने ग्वालियर को स्थाई निवास बनाया।

समाज सेवा: जीवन में आप सामाजिक और चारित्रिक मर्यादावों के पक्षधर रहे। आपकी स्मरण शक्ति अदभुत थी। इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय में शिक्षा प्राप्ति के दौरान ही किसानों और जाट समाज के उत्थान की ललक जागी। जीवन पर्यंत वे इस कार्य में जुटे रहे।

ग्वालियर चंबल के अतीत और इतिहास तथा जातीय गौरव की पहचान सम्पूर्ण विश्व में पहुंचाई। जाट समाज कल्याण परिषद की स्थापना कर जातीय संगठन को मजबूत किया। आपने अखिल भारतीय जाट महासभा में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। आपने पूरे देश के प्रबुद्ध जाटों को जाट समाज कल्याण परिषद से जोड़ा। ग्वालियर किले पर प्रतिवर्ष अखिल भारतीय किसान मेला आयोजित कर देश के और समाज के प्रबुद्ध लोगों को एक मंच पर लाकर समाज के विकास को दिशा देने में सफलता पाई। आपके ही प्रयासों से ग्वालियर में महाराजा भीमसिंह राणा की मूर्ति स्थापित हुई और जाट धर्मशाला ग्वालियर की स्थापना हो सकी।

व्यक्तित्व: आप मितभाषी, कठोर अनुशासक, व्यवहार कुशल, जातीय हित-चिंतक, निडर व्यक्तित्व के धनी थे।

परिवार: आपकी पत्नी स्वर्गीय कमला देवी ने जीवन पर्यंत सामाजिक कल्याण की गतिविधियों में आपका साथ दिया। वर्तमान में आपके पुत्र जितेंद्र सिंह बजाज अलायंज़ में डिप्टी मैनेजर के पद पर हैं तथा पुत्रवधू संगीता सिंह प्रचार्य इन्टरनेशनल स्कूल ग्वालियर हैं तथा जाट समाज कल्याण परिषद की कार्यकारिणी की सदस्या के रूप में समाज उत्थान तथा जातीय कल्याण की गतिविधियों में सक्रिय सहयोग कर रही हैं। पौत्र उत्कर्ष सिंह डैल कंपनी में साफ्टवेयर इंगीनियर हैं तथा जाट समाज कल्याण परिषद में भी सहयोगी हैं।
