Sakhya (साख्य) is mentioned in Mahabharata (IX.44.49).

Shalya Parva, Mahabharata/Book IX Chapter 44 mentions the ceremony for investing Kartikeya with the status of generalissimo (सेनागणाध्यक्ष), the diverse gods, various clans who joined it....Names of the diverse gods include Sakhyas in verse (IX.44.49). ...."Sakhyas, the Rudras, the Vasus, the Pitris, the Seas, the Rivers, and the Mountains,...."
