Satroya (सतरोरा) is a gotra of Jats. It is branch of Budhwar.[1]

Pliny[2] mentions The Persian And The Arabian Gulfs..... (25.) Beyond their (Chelonophagi) district, in the direction of India, is said to be the desert island of Caicandrus, fifty miles out at sea; near to which, with a strait flowing between them, is Stoidis, celebrated for its valuable pearls.
History
Ram Swarup Joon[3] writes... Budhwar kings are mentioned to have offered presents in the Rajsuya Yagya ceremony of the Pandavas. The descendants of the Budhwar gotra in the western Punjab are called Satroya, Badhan, Chatra, Siyan, Gawaya, Goch and Mudyal.
