Location of Sewa in Sikar district

Sewa (सेवा) is a medium-size village, associated with Phagalwa, in Dhod tahsil of Sikar district in Rajasthan.

Before creation of Dhod tahsil, this village used to fall within Sikar tahsil.

Location

It is situated at a distance of about 15 km in west direction of Sikar on Sikar - Salasar road. It is well connected and developed village.

Monument

A famous temple of lord Hanuman (Kinkarala Balaji) is situated in the north of village. Founder of this temple is Shimarji Babjoi. Who is still serving this temple. In the Mughal Emperor time Chaudhary Parsaram Mandiwal was re-presenter of village.

Population

  • As per Census-2001, its population was 1,591.
  • As per Census-2011 statistics, Sewa village has the total population of 1803 (of which 917 are males while 886 are females).[1]
