Shinwar District

Shinwar (Pashto: شينوار ولسوالۍ‎) is a district in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan.

Location

It is on the main highway from Jalalabad to the Torkham border crossing. The district centre is the village of Shinwar.

Shinwar district of Nangarhar province has several other districts. As an example, Achen. Usually the residents of Shinwar call themselves "Shinwari". The people of Shinwar has always been active in Nangarhar province and as well as in Afghanistan, for their great support with the government.
