Sunita Godara

Sunita Godara is 1992's Asian Marathon Champion and Arjuna award winner.She holds the record of running the maximum marathons run by an Indian. She won 23 half marathons and has runs 200 international races in all continents.In 1990 she clocked 2 hours 49.21 minutes to become the first Indian to win a world class race.She also carried the Olympic Torch at the 1996 Centennial Olympics at Atlanta. Sunita Godara is operating various NGO vehicles like the Health Fitness Trust since 1992 and Health Fitness Society that has been put into function in 1999 to implement her ideas. She is also a Director with Population Control Society - an International NGO.
