Sunna (सुन्ना) is village in Shamli tehsil of Shamli district in Uttar Pradesh.

Situated 9 kms from Kandhla. And 18 kms from Shamli.
Origin
History
Rajatarangini tells that Sunna was the chief executive officer, and had attained to the highest rank, but behaved meanly owing to his great avarice. He deprived the monasteries (mathas) at Ajayavana, one of his estates, and at Mulaka and Vijayesuvava, of the means of their support. [1]
