Location of Sutot in Sikar district

Sutot (सुटोट) or Suthoth (सुटोट) (Sutoth) is a village in tehsil Laxmangarh of Sikar district in Rajasthan. It is situated at a distance of 24 km from Sikar in the west direction on Sikar-Salasar road. This is an old historical village founded 700 years back. This is a well-connected village. There is an ancient Bargad tree and a pond in the village.

Jat Gotras

• Burdak - Burdaks came from Mandota. Some Burdaks moved from here to Ratangarh,Thathawata etc. बुरड़क वंशावली में एक उदाजी थे. उनके वंश में चिमना राम तथा उनके पुत्र मोहनाराम थे. मोहनाराम का विवाह पिलानिया जाटों में हुआ. उनके दो पुत्र थे. नूनारामजी और खुमाणारामजी. नूनारामजी और खुमानारामजी का जन्म सीकर जिले के मांडेता गाँव में हुआ. रतनगढ़ में वर्तमान में रह रहे बुरड़क नूनारामजी के वंशज हैं तथा ठठावता गाँव मे रह रहे बुरड़क खुमानारामजी के वंसज हैं. खुमाणारामजी का मामा हरुरामजी पिलानिया था वह सुटोट गाँव में रहता था. नूनारामजी और खुमानारामजी मांडेता से आकर मामा हरुरामजी पिलानिया के यहाँ सुटोट गाँव में रहने लगे. दोनों भाईयों का विवाह मामा हरु पिलानिया ने किया. खुमाणारामजी का विवाह खीचड़ जाटों में 'खीचड़ों की ढाणी' में भूरी खीचड़ के साथ हुआ तथा नूनारामजी का विवाह महला जाटों में मैलासी गाँव में हुआ. मामा हरुरामजी पिलानिया के मरने के बाद उसके भाईयों में जमीन का विवाद हुआ तब नूनारामजी और खुमाणारामजी सुटोट से रतनगढ़ आकर बस गए. रतनगढ़ के पश्चिम में 400 बीघा जमीन ली और 'मावलियों का बास' नामक गाँव बसाया. नूनारामजी के चार बेटे हुए मालूजी, लीछमण, नाराण, और सूरजा. ये सभी रतनगढ़ में ही बस गए. मालूजी या मालीराम जी बुरड़क (1910-1998) इनमें उल्लेखनीय रहे हैं आप रतनगढ़ शहर नगरपालिका के अध्यक्ष रहे है. आपने स्वतंत्रता आन्दोलन में दौलतराम सारण के साथ रहकर समाज सेवा का कार्य किया. आपके कोई संतान नहीं होने से छोटे भाई की संतान गोद ली. खुमाणारामजी संवत 1962 में ठठावता गाँव आ गए.

There are 700 families residing in the village out of them 450 families are of Jats. The biggest Jat gotra in the village is Pilania. The Pilanias have 400 families in the village. The other Jat gotras are Chahar, Thalod and Khichar.

As per Census-2011 statistics, Suthoth village has the total population of 2409 (of which 1234 are males while 1175 are females).
