Tyagi Mansa Ram born and brought up in a Sheoran Jat family at Dalawas village in Badhra tehsil of Bhiwani district in Haryana.
Role in Freedom Movement
In 1930's he sold silver and gold ornaments of his wife to finance the journey expenses and ensure their participation in Peoples Conference from his district. Banarsi Das Gupta from Manehru and a few more leaders went there. At this splendid act of sacrifice, he came to be hon'bly addressed by he people of the area as Tyagi Mansa Ram.
