Notable persons
Now, people know Bhiwani as a boxer city of India. And the person who led this game to Bhiwani, was none other than a man from Umarwas whose name is Late Capt. Hawa Singh. He was three times consecutive champion of Asia in boxing. He opened the Bhiwani Boxing Club (BBC) in Bhiwani, in which today's youth is practicing and sweating since his time. Now Vijender Kumar, again a Boxer from BBC, has made India proud by winning a Bronze Medal in Beijing Olympics,China in 2008.
